Wanderlust

Fleeter was not happy to intrude in stranger territory but food was food. He needed it- but not in the way he did when he was younger. Food meant life. It wasn't a luxury. He used to treat it that way. With this in mind he wanted to hunt for he was getting hungry but instead he walked to a nearby lake and drank to help ease his hunger.

"You know it's been so many moons now, maybe it's time to join a pack." He talked in his head to himself. Fleeter did wonder around and knew a bit of each pack's aggressiveness. And he happened to be in Xyla, which wasn't too bad. "Would they accept me? Even though I've grown so much I'm still the same wolf." He held a conversation in his head. "Inca accepted me. How could I forget. Well then surely all wolves can't be as bad as The Former Pack." Fleeter dipped his head down and licked at the water again, as if to break the silence of still nature. He was not used to being alone.

"Well, where should I start?" He said out loud as he looked back and forth, as if looking for something. "Well it doesn't matter as long as I get in." There was always that choice to wander again. Or to join another pack. Fleeter remembered something. He noted in himself to never to become a victim like he did years ago. With this is mind he started to seek out the pack.

Kishi sat in the confindments of under her tree. It was a tree, and it was hers, it was the one she always sat under, the one with the large, green leaves, and thick branches. Her mind wandered back to the recent events. Everything was OK now, Karn was back to his usual self, the pups were healthy, and Eyolf, well, she hadn't seen her for a while, but that didn't worry her, she never saw much of the Fae.

Kishis auds wandered around the clearing, making sure everything was how it usualy was. Your not going to get much done, lazing around here all day, come on Kishi, you have a pack to look after. She thought to herself, slowly rising. She started to walk in direction to the water place, one of the only places to get good, clear water, that tasted resonable.
The closer she got, the more a scent hit her nose, she hadn't smelt this one before, so it wasn't anyone from her pack, or Senna, or Kaija, for that matter.

Her auds fell upon a lone wolf, standing by the water. He was sort of small, but definatly older than herself. She aproached him wearily, holding her head high. True, she was younger than the usual Alphas of a pack, but she could handle it, and this stranger was not going to put her off. He didn't look to harmful, anyway, but her past had always told her not to judge a book by its cover, or, a wolfs strenghths by his looks. Hello? Can i help you? She said gently, but firmly, remembering that she had small pups in the area.

Fleeter turned to see the Femme that spoke to her. He was surprised he didn't sniff her comming up to him. Thats what you get with being careless and talking to yourself. He turned to his side, being very careful not to provoke any sudden or aggressive movements. He has seen this one before from a distance. Her tail was fluffier than his, and the kindness or curiousity in her voice was not quite like Inca's but comparable. His large ears pulled back to show he ment no harm.

"My name is Fleeter. I want to join your pack." He knew this was the alpha, for he spent most his time near this pack. "Am I comming on too fast?" He thought maybe.

Fleeter was very new to this. He always been in a pack he never had to find a way on how to join. So this was kind of awkward. /Well atleast it's not as awkward as it could have been if she had met him a year ago./ He looked at the femme in the eyes to show his honesty.

Come to think of it, the scent was somewhat familiar, she was she she had smelt it some time before, but clearly not for long, as she didn't recognise the Brute that stood infront of her. She must admit, he was quite the handsom wolf, especialy his large ears, and the dark stripe that ran down in between them.
"My name is Fleeter. I want to join your pack" At first she was exited, another pack member would make them stronger, and give her some body to talk with, seeing as she had seen the others for a while, but then she remembered the rules. she couldn't just let any old wolf join, he may be a threat.

Kishi cocked her head to the side and looked at him, studying his appearence, and then spoke. "Well, hello Fleeter. And you do, do you?" She raised an eyebrow, her words seemed strangely formal, more than they usualy were anyway.
"What will the pack gain from accepting you?"Truthfully, she wasn't bothered about all of the questioning, and stuff like that, but Kishi knew that she had to do it, it was the ways of the Alphas.

Kovu had been resting over night his thoughts still stuck on Senna kovu shook his head to get rid of the unwanted memories that's all him and Senna had been memories only to be trashed by Kaija, Kovu was able to limp as only his one leg was badly hurt his face was still saw but would be fine the dried blood was stook to his face and leg the blood curdled around his wound.

Kovu limped but came across two figures he knew one was a fae and could tell the other was a brute but didn't look like they knew each other, Kovu limped over towards the two wolves but he couldn't get down the hill he was on. Kovu tried to limp but before he could so anything he was sliding down the hill, his back hurt as he slid down before bumping in to the fae.

Kovu was quick to reply "I am very sorry" the sliding down the hill had causing his leg wound to re-open, Kovu stood and was still limping, the brute limped as he tried to stand he help nudge the fae back up that was the least he could do for knocking her over. Kovu didn't see a resebance between Kaija and the fae standing before him so he didn't think this was kishi.

Kovu steadied himself slightly "Sorry for bumping in to you like that but I am looking for Kishi do you know her?" Kovu smiled he looked large and powerful but he was a big softy when wolves got to know him, He was looking for a fae which looked slightly like Kaija but every fae he saw there was none he was beginning to thick Kaija had sent him on the look for a non-esitan wolf.

kishi smiled at the new Brute, when a noise from behind made her ears twitch. She turned her head to see another wolf walking, or limping, to the top of the hill. A new scent filled her nose, one that reminded her somewhat of Senna. Thinking that it was the Alphess of Skyla, she turned her whole body, with a quick look at Fleeter, just to let him know she was sorry for the disturbance.
"Senna?" The wolf looked injured, and without warning, tumbled down the hill, and fell into her. At a closer look, she could see that this wolf was not Senna, it was infact a Brute.
His scent was so much like the Faes, the Kishi was sure he was from the Skyla. "Ouch," She winced, as he banged against her leg.

'I am looking for Kishi, do you know her?'

Kishi studied the Brute, he was obviously in great pain, and the results from a nasty fight were visable on his leg. Trying not to let sympathy get in the way, she answered him. "I am Kishi, why? She paused for a second, and then added "Are you OK?" Of course he wasn't OK, he was covered in blood, and in pain, what a stupid thing to say.

She nudged him, to tell the Brute to sit down, and then looked back at Fleeter, hoping the interuption hadn't annoyed him. "You're from Skyla, aren't you, whats happened?"


Eeh, museless.

"What will the pack gain from accepting you?" Fleeter nearly gritted his teeth and looked away. He wasn't sure what a pack would gain from him. Would he be able to share his new found cunning? Maybe he could put this situation to his advantage. Well thats what he thought but a moment later a stranger wolf entered the area. And there was blood. Almost as keen to smell, he could feel it. But a strange vibe was given off. The alpha went over to the wolf and guestured to Fleeter.

Fleeter looked over at the two wondering still if he should join or not. As he saw the blood from afar he thought it was probably not something he should stick himself into. He wasn't annoyed either and enjoyed her gestures of politeness. Even though they were quick. It was something his old pack didn't do to him. He looked around in thought for a moment and started to walk up to the two, if something went bad he could always run.

He casually got himself to the two telling himself in his head not to get so worked up over strangers. Well they were strangers-- for now. Fleeter saw the reopened wound on the wolf. But he wasn't sure what to say. The femme gestured the other wolf to sit down and Fleeter turned to her. The spoke to earlier. "Is this one of yours?" He asked softly with his head and ears low. He didn't come in time to hear her say he was from Skyla.

Kovu sat with the nudge from Kishi his leg now throbing in pain he heard the ouch the fae gave "I am so sorry" the brute couldn't stop aploaging for nocking over the fae. As she said she was kishi Kovu raised an eye brow he was a little confused "Kaija told me to come here for help but I will go if I am a problem" Kovu wasn't going to hang around if he was unwelcome.

Kovu sat he flinched as the wind pushed passed his wound "I would be ok if I didn't have this large gap on my leg" the brute let out a small laugh, Kovu looked at the other brute "I am sorry if I have inturrupted something" Kovu was trying to keep his leg still but it was twiching with all the pain his bone was now showing through his wound.

As Kishi asked is he from Skyla the brute would rather not replied but he did any way "Well, Kaija and Senna has fallen in love so I have lost my place as alpha" Kovu's eyes started to fill up but he held back the urge to cry "I used to be alpha but my postion has now gone to Kovu the Kaija wants be out of his lands" Kovu sat thinking about his words.

Kovu looked up at kishi to see what she would say but Kovu had to say one thing or maybe two "Kishi you don't look like Kaija do you?, do you think Kaija will treat Senna right?" Kovu knew Kaija and Kishi were related and hoped she would give him some comfort.

Fleeter wasn't sure what to make of all this. But he knew that this wolf was in pain. "You can't just let it bleed like that." Fleeter started to lick at the wolf's wound. A wolf's lick is the only cure that wolves had. That and time. And it always worked quite well so why not give him a hand. After cleaning up the wound it was still open, but it stopped bleeding like it used to. "Forgive me but I can't watch others in pain. I was never good with it myself." He gave a little smile.

This wolf, Kovu seemed to be very sad about losing his position so he did his best to comfort him. Fleeter was sad to that he was sad. Other wolves from his former pack would be angry if they lost their position which would turn their rage onto himself causing fear. But there was not that pressure here. He felt that Kovu was feeling unwelcomed and out of place, so he hoped all of this would ease his mind.

"You'll be OK. Just rest for a while." He looked to Kishi, as she was alpha he was looking to her for a solution for this dilemma that he didn't understand.

Kishi watched as Fleeter came to sit next to her. "Is this one of yours?" She sat and thought for a minute. "No, he is, or was the Alpha of my brothers pack." She said quietly to him.
The Fae turned her head back to Kovu as he spoke. She could tell he was in distress, and obviously upset about events. "Kaija did, huh?" She said, a touch of coldness showing in her voice. Although her and her brother were not as hateful to each other as they used to be, she still didn't like him much. It hadn't been any of his buisness where she went, or, for this matter, who she went with, and he had to go sticking his big nose in it.

"No, its OK, you can stay. Theirs always room for one more. " She said softly. He was nervous, she could tell that, and shaking alot. Kishi watched as Fleeter walked over to him, and licked his wound, making it stop bleeding. Kishi smiled at the Brutes, but then it hit her what Kovu had said. "Kaija ... an Alpha ... ?" She said with a little smirk. It had been clear to her than he had always wanted that position, but he wasn't capable of it, he wouldnt be able to keep up.

She sent another smile at Kovu, and then began to question. "and your telling the truth, he hasn't sent you here to, well, spy on us?" It sounded like the sort of thing Kaija would do, and even more when she said it outloud.
Kishi didn't reply, in words, to his last question, or statement. She simply shook her head, before turning to Fleeter.

The Fae nodded at the Brute, to say he was part of the pack now. She walked to the side with him, before explaining the situation. "I guess you should know the goings on, seeing as your a pack member now." She said, smiling.
Basicaly, Kovu used to be Alpha of the Skyla, but now my brother has, err, got off? with the Alphess, and taken over the position. And i am guessing that they had some sort of figh, and now Kovu is here." She said plainly, before turning back to Kovu. "Kovu, did Kaija do this to you?" She said, guesturing to his injuries.

Kovu felt the brute tongue on his wound the brute yelped in pain and tried his hardest not to attack the brute who was trying to help him when Kishi sounded surprised "I am worried that Kaija will get the pack in to trouble" Kovu tried to stand but he couldn't "I don't think Kaija will cope with alpha responsibilities" his voice sounded scared and worried.

Kovu looked at Kishi when she said "and your telling the truth, he hasn't sent you here to, well, spy on us?" kovu gave a cold stare "I wouldn't do nothing for Kaija" His voice was harsh. Kovu was edgey he was worrying about Senna he knew she wouldn't be safe with a fool like kaija running the pack.

Kovu looked at Kishi when she asked if Kaija had done this to him the brute laughed "You think Kaija did this ha, no he didn't two beard came on to the lands I tried to save the pack but got hit while Kaija and Senna left me to get killed" Kovu looked at the two wolves he didn't want to stay he knew he had to get Kaija thrown off the alpha postion even if it mean death.

Kovu looked at Kishi his eyes turned cold and empty his Skyla side was coming out "I am going to go back to Skyla and challege Kaija off the alpha postion" Kovu tried to stand but and he stragtened his leg the wound began to bleed again the blood dripped to the floor below he stopped and began licking his wound but the bleeding wasn't stopping.

Kovu looked at kishi "You didn't answer my last question will Kaija treat Senna right?, I over heard that Kaija wants to get Senna Pregnate" Kovu stared at the alphess awaiting her reply.

Fleeter smiled and wagged his tail. "I did it!" his ears perked and was really proud of himself. He joined a pack and now he can start gaining respect for himself. He now needed to work up to the rank of hunter and wait a couple years. And in time hopefully beta, and one day... Alpha-- what wolf didn't want to be alpha after all? He pondered about this. But he had to be careful not to mess things up. He needed to stay strong. And not to let this get to his head.

Fleeter saw the wolf try to stand and his wounds bled again. He is a dead wolf, he thought- if he kept trying to move like that. Since he was of Skyla he didn't bother to comfort him again. He didn't trust him now, even though the alpha was kind to him. If he really meant what he said why would he be so eager to move about? Fleeter worried the alpha female was too soft, even though he hated to inflict pain and make conflicts it was good to let other pack members know who is boss around here. Rather than welcoming open arms like some den hotel.

But he didn't know their relationship or anything of the sort like past friendships. Maybe she did know what she was doing and decided to go along but was going to keep a close eye on Kovu. For it was mating season, things go very rough and Fleeter understood by all means necessary- stay away from unfriendly foes during this season and seek shelter till times past. "But still..." He muttered to himself.

But after thinking for a moment he was actually grateful. If the femme was not as kind as she had been it would have taken Fleeter a long time to settle down with them. He perked up and just left it at that.

Kishi couldn't help but laugh when she saw Fleeters tail wagging, something had made him very pleased with himself, that was for sure. She turned her head as Kovu spoke again, but this time, his voice had a certain, worried tone to it. "I dunno, perhaps my brother has changed since i last saw him?" She knew had probably hadn't, and would still be the same old Brute that couldn't cope with more than two things at a time.

The Alphess raised an eyebrow as she watched Kovu think, and then he spoke. His words sent a shiver down her back, they were filled with hate and murder. She was getting on her guard, but then remembered that this wolf could not do anything to hurt her or Fleeter, due to the nasty injury on his leg, plus their was two of them, and one of him. "clearly."
Kishi then listened to his tale of who attacked him, two bears, when Senna and Kaija hid to let him be killed. She didn't know whether to believe him or not, for when Senna had been here helping the Xyla with the Kione matter, she had not given up the fight untill she was knocked unconsious, but then again, she didn't know her all that well. The Fae glanced at Fleeter, just to make sure he was still their and OK incase of attack.

His next words were filled with more hate, and Kishi was sure she saw a gleam of something in his eyes. "You're going back there, to challenge a powerful wolf ... like this? She said, nodding at his legs. He was trying to get up, but it was causing him great pain by the looks of things.
She looked at him again, to see that he was staring at her hardly, not blinking once.
'You didn't answer my last question, will kaija treat Senna right.?
She thought about this for a second, and then answered. "I can honestly say, i don't know." Kishi had seen him with Faes when she was a Skyla pup, and he used to turn nasty when they didn't do what he wanted.
'I overheard that Kaija wants to get Senna pregnant.'
These words came of no shock to her, yet she did not answer, simply mumbled to herself, in a voice that she hoped only herself could here. "Now why doesn't that suprise me?"

Kishi looked back at Fleeter, all this time he had been in his own little world, thinking about something that was beyond her knowledge. Suddenly he awoke back into the real life, but seemed alot perkier. She just smiled, and then turned back to Kovu, wondering whether or not to leave.

Kovu's ears was pointing up he was alert, as Kishi spoke it made him worst, "What do you mean your bother might of changed?" Kovu had rested his leg and he tried again to stand he did but he didn't put a lot of presure on his leg as he didn't want it bleeding again. Kovu noticed the two wolves were ready incase of an attack "I am not going to attack you, I would have no chance against you to with my leg" Kovu let out a little laugh.

When Kishi nodded at Kovus wound he knew it was a stupid thing to say but he just nodded at agreed with the fae. With Kishi saying she doesn't know Kovu wanted to make sure Senna was ok but he could do nothing after being banished from the pack. Kovu heard a slight mumble of Kishi "now why doesn't that suprise me?" Kovu looked straight at Kishi "what do you mean by that?" Kovu's eyes widened to lisen to her response.

While Kovu was sitting he felt something nipping his tail as he turned round a small pup was there looking inconncet Kovu turned round and licked the pups head, his leg still painful but he used his tail to tickle the pup Kovu let out a little laugh while he was playing with the young pup, his carefully picked up the pup by the scruff and placed it by Kishi "is this little one yours?" Kovu said with a smile he enjoyed having pups around and always wanted some pups of his own.

Thinking she should never had said anything now, she shifted on her feet, trying to think up an answer to his first question. "well, he's always been ... rough." She said uncertainly. She couldn't help but laugh when he said he wouldn't attack them, and it made her feel slightly more comfortable.

She winced as he asked the second question, the Brute had obviosuly heard her mumbles. "Well, he had always had a taste for ... that sort of thing." She said quietly, watching his eyes widen, another flash of hate going through them.
Her own eyes widened as she saw what was bothering Kovu behind him, it was her youngest pup. She snarled as he bend towards it, only to see him licking the pups head. She growled again as he picked the pup up and placed it infront of her. She had always felt very protective of any of her pups, but this one was the only live one of the litter, so she was determind to keep it safe. She moved the pup behind her whilst saying "Yes", staring at Kovu with soft rumble in the throut.
