Kishi waited as the Brute next to her slowly fell asleep, and then carefully stood up, careful not to hurt him. She walked around the cave end, and stopped at the pups. Earlier, she had truly thought they were gone for ever, and them turning up was nothing more than a miracle. The alphess sat and watched them sleep, only getting up to move one of them away from a draft. As she sat with nothing on her mind, it occured to her that this was the first in a long time that she was able to just sit and enjoy life. This time the night before, and she was in here, hiding and keeping five pups safe away from Karns brother, thinking that she was going to have to spend the rest of her life doing what Kione wanted, and keeping the pups away from him, and she would never have thought that tonight she would be sleeping in the same place as her mate again. Yes, she was three pups down, and Karn was very injured, plus, she was carrying Kiones babies, but they were all there with her, and that made Kishi feel alot better.

Senna gazed at Kaija as he nudged the dead wolf's body. She walked over to the other side of the lifeless body and saw Kaija's face. He looked like he didn't know what to do. "We could push it into the river..That way they won't have to wake up with him just laying there." Senna looked back down at the alabaster brute at his extinguised eyes. If he had gotton more of what he wanted and killed both her and Karn, then the Xyla would just turn into a bloodthirsy pack. The Skyla weren't all that great, that was true, but this Kione, he would have been much worse if he lived.
Senna looked towards the sky's as a loud, rumble echoed across the land. Dark clouds were rolling in, and she could see the streaks of lightening flash in the distance.Oddly enough, it made her think about Kovu and Layla. Knowing Kovu, he was probly restless of her being away for too long. Suddenly, a sharp pang of pain went through her body when the rain began to pelt down on her head, and her wound was open to it. Her bright eyes shifted towards the brute and waited for a response. Then they could run back to the Skyla lands to get out of this weather.

Kaija ...
The brute nodded, and then pushed the body into the lake. He was very heavy, and his head was lolling annoyingly, getting in the way. His fierce look was ruined as the limp body of a once strong wolf splashed into the water. Kaija turned back to Senna, noticing her wincing as the rain rolled in. He made a gesture with his head, trying to say 'do you want to go?' He was unsure whether the Fae wanted to stay and help out a bit more, after all, Kishi was the only healthy one in the pack, ((as far as he knows, nothing happened to her, and he is yet to find out about Eyolf)), so it would be up to her to keep the pack lands safe, because Karn certainly wasn't going to be able to, with that back wound of his.
I just have one question, why did he attack you in the first place? You've been here plenty of times without getting into a fight? Kaija was unsure whether she would answer, and worried that he had said to much. Another bold of lightening struck not far off, making him jump, the eerie atmosphere of this place had got him on his guard.

Senna watched as Kaija shoved the heavy brute into the water. His body bobbed in the water, and was carried down river by the currents. She looked to the brute, who was motioning his head to go back. "It's alright..I'll be fine." She's dealt with worse things than some gash on her head, but it did hurt alittle. She sat back onto her hind legs and let her plumed tail lay on her paws to keep them warm. Once more, she looked up to the sky's, blinking back the rain drops. She actually loved the rain beating down upon her pelt. It often reminded her of where she used to live when she was just a pup.
Coming back to reality, she listened to Kaija. He had no idea what happened, but she was sort of glad he wasn't here to witness it for himself. "Because I attacked him first. He told me that he was the one who chased that bear onto Petra beach and killed Millie, so I attacked him." He was right though, this was, actually, one of the first times she came to the Xyla and got into a fight. "He charged back at me, and unfortunatly he cast me to the ground, giving me this gash, and I fell uncouncious." She remembered feeling so helpless after that, she couldn't even move. If she wasn't uncouncious, then the next part wouldn't have happened. She got up and stepped alittle closer to Kaija, speaking in a dull, emotionless whisper so that the alpha's wouldn't wake up. "When I was waking up, Kione had just..finished with Kishi..I think he got her pregnant."

Karn stood up and came out of the den it was still raining but he thought it would wash his wounds " Senna Kaija haven't you gone yet? " the brute smiled at them both " you guys better go theres a big storm coming I think your pack will be missing you " the brute was still limping heavily and in great pain but knew it wouldn't get infected if it was clean " I heard you covastion sorry I couldn't help you know with Kione Kishi is going to be having pups " the alphas face dropped as he scand the ground for the body " have you got rid of the body? " the brute limped back into the den to check on his pack but couldn't help but wonder about eywolf who hasn't been any help the brute lied half in the cave keeping his back out of the rain which had now stopped bleeding he rested his head on his paws awaiting sennas reply as his pups came up to him and lay down by him as kishi had feel asleep deep in the den. words |182|

Kaija ...
He wasn't convinced when Senna said she was fine, but he wasn't going to argue. Kaija watched her as she looked up to the Sky, he had noticed her doing that a lot since he had arrived, but assumed she was just trying to get used to the feeling of the rain on her wound. It seemed to work.
After about two minutes, she answered his question. Green Orbs widened as she told him the tale of why she attacked him. He was the one that ... but ...why would ... Millie? The Brute was unsure what to say, why would Kione do that to Millie, what had the pup ever done to him? Kaija wasn't suprised that she attacked him, after what he had done. Senna paused for a second, and then told him about Kishi. Kaija couldn't think of anything to say. He did what?! That ... he paused to carm down a bit, and asked another question. Surely she faught back? Kishi wouldn't let that happen to her without a fight?
Just as he had finished with the questions, Karn limped out of the cave mouth. Kaija watched as he explained about Kishi expecting pups, he didn't seem to happy with the idea, but the Brute couldn't blame him. And when he asked about the body, the wolf just nodded, and blinked, waiting for Senna to say something to him.
Kishi ...
One grey orb opened half way. She opened both of them up and stood up, stretching her legs. Kishi looked around the room tiredly, noticing that Karn had gone. She checked that the pups were still asleep, and began to settle down again. Her ears twitched as she picked up talking. The Fae sniffed the air, taking in the scents of the pups, Karn, Senna, and Kaija, plus their was still the faint smell of Kione. Stretching a bit more, she began to walk towards the cave entrance. The sky had darkened now, and she could see rain drops falling from above. Kishi trotted outside, feeling the water drip onto her head, and saw three wolves sitting, talking. Karn, Senna and Kaija. She could see Karn wincing as the salty rain hit his wound, and Senna was also wincing slightly. The Fae walked over to them, smiling at the three wolves.

Her head still lifted towards the sky, Senna closed her eyes briefly. She wasn't really sure why Kione wanted to kill Millie. Kaija was right, she did nothing to the brute, let alone know him. But all she knew was that he said he wanted to see her hurt. Why, she would never know. She just simply shook her head, for she didn't know. Senna's right eye slowly reopened, only half-ways, after she heard the anger in Kaija's voice. She smiled inwardly to herself. Despite being mad at Kishi for leaving the Skyla some time ago, he still cared for his sister. After the anger desipated from his face, he asked another question. This time, all emotion drained from her face. She shoke her pelt to get all the water off her fur, then she looked at Kaija. "No, Kishi wouldn't have..But this time, she didn't fight back." Again, she kept her voice down so they wouldn't hear it, plus she didn't know how Kaija would react to it.
Her auds twitching to the faint sounds of pawsteps, Senna's gaze flickered over to the limping Karn. His wound finally stopped bleeding, it seemed, but the pain in his face was noticable. "It's alright, Karn. There was nothing you could do in your condition." She was surprised he lived through that brutal beating from Kione, plus he had to watch everything that happened. There was no dought that he was a tough wolf like his brother. When he asked about the body, she gestured her head to the blood trail of Kione that lead to the water's edge, and nodded silently.
Senna could see Kishi appear at the entrance of the cave through the corner of her eye. After the whole incident with Kione, Kishi came out smiling, like nothing ever happened. She was brave. If that ever happened to her, she would be, most likely, mopeing around and eventually go out for vengence. "Well, I take it you had a good nap?" She teased, putting a light smirk on her face. But then she could smell two more wolves, located somewhere in the cave. She looked at Kishi with a confused face, untill she heard the high-pitched bark. Pups..? She was sure that Kione killed all of them..then again, she was barely aware of her surroundings at the time. Her smirk turned to a smile, Kione mustn'y have seen some of the pups and lived.

Karn heard kishi come out of the cave and looked happy for the fact she was smiling the pups was now around 4 weeks old and the two came out and was playing the the puddles which had formed after the long rain which had now stopped " Kishi I think the pups have followed you " the brute let lose a large smile for the fact that two of his pups had survived can then stood on a fallen log " I am sorry to everyone for what I have caused because of Kione I am greatful that two of my pups survived how would I ever repay you senna " the brute kept an eye out for the pups who was jumping into every puddle that came into site and they was running throught some hollow logs karn stood laughing at the pup playing around and then moved alittle closer to the fae he was glad that he had most of his family intact.
As the pups was running through everything that came to sight the brute relized how lucky he was. Kione's blood was now washed away from the rain which he was greatful of because he didn't want the pups rolling in it, The brute had kept one secrete back from all the wolves he understood why Kione wanted to destroy all Karns pups it was because Karn was adopted from Kiones family they weren't brothers but the brute could bare to hind anything else from the alphess " Kishi I remember you telling me about Kione wanting to kill my pups it because ... well ... Kiones parent adopted me because I strayed from my pack " the brute felt relived that there was no secrets between the pack now.

Kaija ...
The Brute thought about what Senna had said, but then remembered that at that point, she would've thought that all the pups had been killed. Kishi wouldn't have been able to fight back if that had just happened, especially if she had witnessed it. He looked back to the cave entrance when a sound had made his ears twitch. Kishi walked out, a smile on her face. A minute later, his orbs widened as two pup trotted out after her. He looked at Senna for a explanation, but her face made it clear that she had no idea what had just happened. Kaija looked at Karn, notising that his face had turned to a large grin. These pups must be his. He turned his head to where the body used to lay, all blood had been washed away by now. The brute turned to his sister, and then back to Karn as he told why Kione hated him.
Kishi ...
The Fae was about to answer Senna, when a quiet squeek sounded from behind her. She turned her head to see both of the pups had followed her out. This was the first time they had been fully outside, other than when they strayed out when Kione was alive. She smiled as they explored their surroundings, splashing and making alot of noise. Kishi turned back to the adults when she saw Karn standing, abit shakey, on a large log. She smiled at the Brute as he apoligized to them all, even though it was not his fault, he couldn't have known that all of this would happen. After a short pause, he explained why Kione had wanted him and the pups dead. She smiled again at him to show she understood.

Senna only smiled more when she saw two pups scamper out of the cave and jumping into the puddles. It had to be there's, because they resembled there parents quite well. The fae switched her gaze to Karn, who was once again telling his apologies. "You don't have to repay me anything, Karn." She didn't want anything, other than the sleep she lost for a few days now. A moment passed by as Karn told why Kione hated him. He was only adopted by his parents, not really being Kione's brother. That explained why he killed some of the pups. She simply gave a nod to show it was fine. He looked so relieved to tell Kishi that. Senna scolded herself in her mind. I'm getting too softhearted..
Once again, another pang of pain surged through her head, this time producing a headache. Fun.. The wolfess rose to her legs and stretched out about abit. Now she needed to go back to her pack, in case anything happened there. But mostly because Kovu would probubly get mad at her for being gone for so long. "Well, I need to head on back to my pack.. And try to keep out of trouble for at least a few days, ok?" She teased, her usual smirk playing across her lips. She looked at Kaija, wondering if he would stay here for alittle longer or go back. She didn't mind, she just wanted to flop down in a den and sleep untill next spring.

Kishi ...
The alphess smiled when Senna told Karn that he did not have to repay her, the Skyla wolf had done a lot for them in the recent events, and Kishi didn't like to think what the situation would be now if she hadn't been around. Kione would still be alive if it wasn't for her, and the Alphess was grateful to Senna for this. Surely their is something we can do for you, after all the help you have given us? This was the first time she had spoken to the Fae after the attack, and hoped to get a responce.
Now she could see the pain in Sennas face as the wolf turned her head. Kione must have done more damage to her then she was letting on. As the Alphess told them that she would be heading back now, Kishi nodded, and sent her another grateful smile, plus adding we'll try our best, laughing. She turned to see where the pups were, and looked at Karn, to see what his responce would be. Kaija ...
As the sky made another rumbling noise, the rain got thicker, causing a heavy down pour. He lowered his head as the water hit him, trying to keep it out of his eyes. When Senna said she wanted to go back, he was stuck on whether to go with her or not, but soon realised that him alone with Kishi and her mate would only turn aukward, things hadn't been great between the siblings for a long time, so staying here with them by himself was not a good idea. He knew he was on the right track to making up with his sister, but was probably best to take it slowly. Kaija turned to his Alphess, and nodded, to show he would go too. The brute was tired, and could tell the Fae was too, plus Kovu would be worried. He waited for Senna to head off first.

Senna's lobes piveted to the side to hear Kishi's voice. She spoke say calmly, as if nothing ever happened. The ebony wolfess laughed slightly. "I'm serious, you don't need to do anything for me, and you don't owe me anything." The Xyla seemed intent on having to repay her, but Senna would never take anything from another pack. She held too much pride for that. Senna made another smirk to her next response. "You'd better." She had gotton in enough trouble for awhile now. Maybe she'd actually be a good little wolf for once and stay out of trouble.. Or she could just forget about that thought all together and stir up some "fun" with the Liazo.
The fae turned towards Kaija, who was now ducking his head to try to keep the rain out of his eyes. She took it that he didn't nessicarily like the rain too well. Once he looked up and gave a nod, she produced on of her own, and only now she could see his weary face. He must have been tired as well. It was no surprise, the week had been alittle hectic. Senna stood up, shaking her body to relieve her of her damp pelt. With that, she gave a nod to the Xyla alpha's, and headed off.

Kishi sat outside, lost in her thoughts. She hadn't even realised that her mate and pups had gone inside the cave. She popped back to reality when Karn called to her. The Fae walked slowly outside, shivering alittle from the cold. It was strange how the weather had suddenly changed, earlier, it had been resonably warm, but now the temperature had dropped alot. She trotted further into the cave, to see the Brute sat in the middle of the nest, and the pups allwready asleep. Karn was sat stiffly, his back obviously hurting. Kishi trotted up to him and rubbed her head under his, smiling, and then sat down next to him.
Sorry, its kind of short.
