Name: Karisana
Age: 7 months.
Sex: Fae
Species: Arctic Wolf
Pack: Xyla
Rank: Pup
Appearance: Karisana is a pup of tiny stature. She has medium length, snowy white fur. Her fur is often matted in a few places due to her curiosity and love of exploring. Karisana has the hardest time staying clean as she'd much rather be running from place to place exploring everything she can. She has astonishingly bright blue eyes that harbor a caring, yet curious spirit.
She is lithe in figure, though the length of her fur helps her to look a little more filled out. She has no abnormal markings to really set her apart, though the lack of them also makes her somewhat set apart in itself. Her tail is a bit more lengthy than what is normal, and is always seen waving about in excitement.
Personality: Kari is, for the most part, your average pup. She's happy-go-lucky, insanely hyper, and inquisitive to a fault. Her favorite passtime is darting here and there, exploring absolutely everything, despite the mess she often made of her beautiful fur, much to the dismay of her mother...
Kari was always the sweet, caring one as well. She never wished to get into anyones way or upset anyone in any manner. She was always the peacemaker in her litter, and quite the motherly one when she wasn't off exploring things. As she grows it is quite likely that this motherly gentle side will take over the puppish playfullness, and yet perhaps not eradicate it altogether...
History: Karisana's past is widely unknown, even to her. She was born and raised for the first happy six months of her life on the mainland closest to the Island she now resides on. She has vague memories of her mother and father... Two wolves striking out and trying their paw at making a Pack and a life for themselves. At the time it was merely them, their pup-mother, and their newly born four little ones.
Kari was the only one like her mother, white in color and very gentle by nature. Her syblings all took after their father... Warlike and competitive, deep gray as the churning stormy sky. Growing up, Kari was closest to her smallest brother, Ranu. He was always trying hard to follow his brother's lead and yet fell constantly short and thus was the object of mocking and torment. Karisana was, of course, the first one there to comfort him and scold her older brothers. Her brother Tain was the "leader" of their litter and yet Karisana seemed to have a little more say in things than the others when it came to him.
One fateful night stands out, even now, in the young wolfess' mind. The night that changed everything... It was the eve of the pups' seventh month and the unthinkable happened... A new threat had entered the lands... It came on two legs with so many unknown ways and weapons. Sticks that went bang and wolves that followed the evil ones' commands... It was not long before they found the wolf den one dark evening.
It so happened that, on that night, Kari had gotten angry at their pup mother for not taking their side when Tain had been picking on Ranu mercilessly. And so Kari had ran off in anger to think, once Ranu was looked after of course. She didn't go back for quite a while, and instead went to sit on the beach, gazing out into the wide ocean. She had only wanted to teach them a lesson, which was very out of character for her... Although it saved her life...
It's not known what happened to her family... And yet when she returned to her den it was empty, scent of a dark threat everywhere, tainting the scent of her beloved family and masking it. Terror struck the young wolfess as suddenly as the storm struck the lands. So she ran back to her thinking spot. She knew of a small cave that was accessible on low tide and still safe on high tide, in normal circumstances. If something was to happen, then her father had taught them to go there to hide and wait for the rest of the family.
And so that is where she aimed her frantic pawsteps. She soon found the cave, and as it was low tide, she would run into it and stand at the very back and wait. She waited and waited, soon curling up as the temperature dropped further and the storm raged outside. Sometime during it the pup dropped off into sleep, knowing that her family would join her any time. And yet time went on and the tide started coming in, it came in quickly and fiercely. And it was not long before the sea found the mouth of the cave and began to fill the cave more rapidly than normal and come closer than normal before too long she was hit with a splash of cold water which awoke her.
Terror seized the young wolfess and she scrambled back further, confusion in her eyes. The sea never came this high! And she was trapped! Before long the small pup was whisked out by the sea, dragged from her sanctuary and tossed by the roaring waves. She howled out in fear and desperation as she powered her tiny paws trying hard to stay afloat, failing at times as she was tossed around.
Though her fight was not in vain. Somehow admist the fury of the storm her paws hit solid ground. Surprise seized her frame and she froze before scrambling to get a pawhold on the shifting sands of Faumara Beach. Finally she pulled herself from the waters and fell exhausted just out of reach of the angry waves, hopefully to be found soon by one who didn't wish to eat her...
(I don't have a picture, hope that's alright! If I need one just let me know. And I hope the history is alright! I wasn't exactly sure of any surrounding areas, so I made that up And I know the entrance is a little far fetched to the island but it might be able to happen... Ah well thought I'd throw it out there and see what you guys thought. Hopefully it's good and you guys enjoy it and accept this little one.
