It was a nice spring morning the sun was rising adding a splash of colour to the morning sky the only noise was the birds singing and the trickling of water the alpha was reliefed that no-one got hurt bumping into the Centuar and that everyone had a good sleep and had a full stomach the brute was sitting in the long grass watching the sun rise little Layla was sitting with him to his orbs followed the sun as it rose the smell of flowers filled in noise it was beautiful to hear, see and smell.
Kovu watched as Layla tried to catch a butterfly he thought it was about time him and Layla had some time alone and as Layla was starting to show an interest in hunting he decided to take her hunting later on today it would be a suprise for the little pup so he didn't tell her or anyone else he just wanted to tell Kaija which he did he walked quitely into the cave while Senna was still sleeping " Kaija I am taking Layla on a hunting trip I won't be back until tommorrow let Senna know" the brute watched at Kaija nodded his head.
The alpha walked outside to see that Layla had caught the butterfly and tried to eat it she obvisly didn't like the tase with the face she was pulling and the fact she was spitting it out qicker than she had put it in her mouth the brute walked over to Layla " Do you want to come hunting with me?" the brute recived a nod from the pup " Ok we will say out for the hole day and come back tomorrow morning " the brute walked into the cave and sat by Kaija " We are going now look after senna we will be back tomorrow morning " the alpha couldn't help but notice a mischevious smile on Kaija face as he walk out the cave he licked Senna on her head then went outside to go hunting with Layla they slowly made there way to the Field.

Senna was in a deep sleep, only awakened by the feel of something on her head. Her eyes slowly drifted open to see a hazy view of Kovu standing over her, then walking out of the cave along with Layla. She exhaled a long breath, then lifted her raven-hued head off her paws. Where were they running off too? Knowing Kovu, it could be anywhere. She laid there blinking her sky blue eyes. She was actually alone for once, something that was very rare for her. That was untill she realised Kaija standing next to her. Her right aud flickered faintly, then she shoke her head and stretched her legs out. Loosening a soundless yawn, she looked up at her beta. "Hey Kaija..Where did those two run off to?" It wasn't strange for her mate to run off at daybreak, but this was the first time he took Layla with him. |

The Brute nodded to the Alpha, and watched him leave the cave, Layla trotting exitedly behind him. He turned around and shivered slightly, although it was warm and sunny outside, the shadows of the cave gave it a cold feel.
A voice made him jump suddenly. It was Senna, just woken up apparently. Kovu has gone to take Layla hunting. He said the Alphas name with a nasty tone to his voice. Kaija trotted from one side of the cave to another, and then sat, watching Senna. His cold green eyes shifted as a movement outside flickered, but then calmed down. The Brute trotted outside, enjoying the sun on his fur.

The fae nodded her head. She wasn't too worried about them hunting, Kovu could always guard the pup if anything went wrong. She let a lop-sided smirk appear when Kaija said Kovu's name, expressing it in alittle hatred. He had to be mad at him still for being so harsh on him. Usually she'd be the one who'd get really outraged if someone left a pup behind unatteneded, but Kovu did instead. Plus, he didn't even leave Layla behind, she was following him when he arrived at the falls. enna pushed her thoughts to the back of her mind, knowing that past agruments were better left in the past. She raised an eyebrow at Kaija as she watched him. He seemed alittle jumpy and on edge for some reason. She wasn't too sure why, she didn't sense any threats nearby.
Senna suddenly let a mischivious smirk place on her lips. His jumpyness was just too good to go to waste..for her. As he walked outside, Senna was silently following to, sneaking up on him. If Kovu and Laya got to have fun hunting, then she might as well have some fun too. Once she was in close range, she launched herself from her hind legs, and pounced suddenly to the side of him, letting a loud bark escape her maw. Then she just smiled innocently like nothing ever happened, and sat back, letting her pink touge slip between her lips and roll out of her mouth.

The further he walked out the cave, the warmer his fur got. It felt good after a long night in a cold environment. Kaijas ears twitched slightly as he sat in the sun, a soft noise behind him sounding in the distance. His orbs fell upon the remains of a butterfly, most likely Laylas doing. She was turning into the blood thirsty wolf that this pack was made up of.
A loud bark made him jump, and a massive bump on his side caught him off guard. Senna pounced on him unexpectedly, bowling him over onto his left side. He steadied himself up, and looked over at the Alphess, who sat there innocently, the only give away that it was her was the huge smirk on her maw.
He let a small laugh escape before rounding on her, running full pace and toppling her over. He enjoyed mock fighting just as much as he enjoyed real fighting. He laughed again as she was bowled over onto her own side by him, and when she looked up at him, it was his turn to smirk.

The wolfess had to let out some laughter at the brute. He just tumbled right onto his side from being so surprised at her barking. Only to open her eyes again, she seen Kaija run right back into her, making her fall back into the grass with a dull thump. She laughed softly, enjoying just playing around. It was no dought better than doing work or patrolling her grounds for intrusions. She looked up at him, only to see a sly smirk cross his lips. "You think your stronger now, hmm?" Which was probly true, but Senna wasn't about to admit to that. Jumping back up on her slender legs, the wolfess nipped at the brutes fur, then bounded off to the side, creating a smirk of her own. |

Kaija smirked as the Fae steadied herself.
'You think your stronger now, hmm?' He laughed. I'd rather not answer that. The Brute said, smiling madly like a pup, he wasn't vain, and knew that they were about matched in battle, but he enjoyed teasing the Alphess. He thought she was going to jump at him again, but instead, she nipped his fur, and then bounded off.
So, this was a game of chase, huh? He started off walking, then quickened his pace alittle, finishing off with a run. He chased after her, struggling to keep up with the athletic she-wolf. She was fast, and he just managed to catch up with her. Kaija ran into the side of Senna softly, nocking her to the ground. He laughed, and stood watching her with a huge smile on his face

Kovu was sitting in the bushes layla was sitting with him she ran in with her rabbit she caught Kovu walked to where the others were playing he was glad to see Senna but not so glad to see Kaija.
Kovu ran quicker than Kaija and quickly nipped Senna when she stopped he licked her muzzle " Missed you " the brute smiled layla ran over dragging the rabbit with her he let out a little laugh at layla.
Later he got Kaija on his own " Don't try anything Understand " Kovu was starting to hate the brute he bit Kaija hard on his muzzle causing blood " I am watching you fool " the alpha walked into the cave and lay down by senna
Muse: rubbish
Notes: Kaija could say that Kovu attack him and senna would fall out with Kovu.

"I'd rather not answer that."
She smirked as she seen his huge grin spread across his maw, and for some reason, she rather liked it. She was dashing off, her legs striding at a quick pace, one in front of the other in a graceful flow across the land with Kaija quick on her tail. Senna couldn't remember a time when she was having as much fun like this. Not even the times she had with Kovu. She felt alittle guitly for even thinking that, but, she knew it was the truth. Looking behind her to see where Kaija was, she was surprised to see him catching up so quickly. She knew he was one of the most fastest runers in the Skyla, but she never seen him in action, untill now.
Alright then, let's see what you can do. She quickened her pace alittle, trying to see if she could outrun the swift beta. She let a smile appear. There was no way he could beat that. As she turned back to see how far Kaija was behind, he was actually right behind her, moving up beside her. The alphess was certainly impressed, she never knew Kaija was that fast. She then felt him pressing into her side, knocking her to the ground with little force. She layed in the grass, blinking her eyes up in surprisment at the laughing brute. She couldn't help but to produce a laugh of her own. He actually beat her and running, something she wasn't used to seeing. Once again, she was impressed. Not too many wolves did that to her other than Kovu. Was she starting to..like him? That couldn't be true, she'd be going behind her mate's back and betraying him..but there was just somthing about Kaija-
Her head whirled around to the feel of a touge on her muzzle. Kovu was back, along with Layla dragging a dead rabbit. "I missed you too." Was that entirely true? She herself, couldn't even muster up the knowledge to know. What is wrong with me.. She stood up onto her legs and cast a smile at Kovu, but while he wasn't looking, she cast one at Kaija as well. She walked over to Layla, licking her head and cleaning off some of the rabbits blood from her fur. "Well, aren't you a strong little pup? I'm proud of you, Layla." |

Kaija couldn't help but laugh when the Alphess quickened her pace, trying to out run him. He knew he was fast but this would definatly test his skills. He fastened his own pace, trying to keep up, it was a struggle, but he managed OK. He laughed again as she fell on the grass with a soft thud. He slowed down and came to a gentle stop. Turning his head, he watched as she stood back up again.
The Brute felt his heart thud as he looked at her. Was their something going on? He knew he liked the Fae, but never before in this way, was it possible? He began to walk over to her, but a noise made his shoulder droop. Kovu and Layla were back. He was usualy fine when either of the appeared, but for some reason today, it made him feel strange. he watched as the Alpha cast him a glare, and then walked over to Senna, licking her muzzle. He turned his glance to Layla, who had caught a rabbit. Kaija smiled gently to her, and then turned to watch Kovu and Senna again. As Senna smiled at Kaija, he felt a warm sensation in his stomach. What?
The Brute stood outside the cave, examining the air to a strange scent. Out of no where camer the sound of Kovu's voice. He listened as the Brute threatened him, smirking to himself. He found it strangly amusing. When the Alpha bit him, that was another matter. he turned on him, and growled as blood pored down his nose. I'm not trying anything, as you put it. He snarled.
Notes: The end is rushed, my sis needs the PC, sorry. And i don't think i will make Kaija tell, because this could lead to a very interesting story =]

Kovu had been watching the two wolves together and all the looks they gave each other was he driving senna out? the brute walked towards Kaija " Don't Smirk at me " the alpha pushed Kaija over this was turning in to a fight. Kovu sat by him " Don't push your luck " the alpha was going to attack the brute if he didn't obae him, Layla was asleep in the cave and Kovu saw Senna coming out the cave put his was angry with both of the wolves but always knew Kaija liked Senna.
Kovu loved senna he wouldn't want to hurt her but wanted to show his dominace over Kaija he scrached his face before walking off to other areas in the land giving him time to calm down before he killed Kaija.

The wolfess looked down at the little pup with the rabbit dangling from her jaws, but her mind was elsewhere. Her eyes looked as if they were in a mesmorized trance, a daze.In all of her life, she would have never believed that she would start liking another brute, when she already had a mate. Which, was happening now. What was she supposed to do? Go up to her very own mate and tell him that she loves someone more than you? She was always in for cruety, but to her loved ones was a whole different story. She already knew, judging by the tension already between the two males, that this wasn't going to go so well on Kovu.
Snapping back to reality to a snarl, she whisped her head around to see Kovu clamping his jaws shut on Kaija's muzzle. She, without even thinking, ran up to both of the brutes and loosened a angry growl. She came just in time to hear Kovu's threatening looks and words, and finally a scratch to Kaija's face. It only made her blood boil. What are you doing, Senna.. She wasn't even siding with her own mate. "That's enough, Kovu. Your starting to go against your own pack." Her own threatening words were alittle too late, seeing Kovu walked off, deeper into the packlands. Where he was going, she wouldn't know, but she knew the only way he would calm down was to be alone for awhile.
Senna looked back at Kaija, a small apologetic look on her face. "..You alright?" She didn't wait for an answer, even if he was fine. She moved up to him and gently licked his blood-stained muzzle clean. He was tough, a wolf's nose was sensitive, most wolves he got a bite there would most likely run off and start to whine and complain about it. When she finished, she stepped a few steps back and sat down, not sure of how he would react. |

Kovu was thinking about dropping his postion in the pack he knew senna had feelings for Kaija even though it hurt him so much he headed back to the den where is was about to annouce it. Even little Layla had saw Senna and Kaija together Kovu was hurt his eyes filled up with tears they then flowed down his face Kovu was heart broken but he wanted to make senna happy.
Kovu entered the the den area which he made the tears flowed down his face more as he saw his word which he did for her Kovu walked over to the pair of them " Senna I am sorry b .. but I want the best for you and know I am not what you he paused to upset to carry on want I am dropping my postion as alpha" Kovu fell it tears he couldn't ack the pain. " I ... I Love you senna never forget that tell layla I love her ".
Kovu was now a loner no longer in Skyla pack he dropped out he didn't want to be around Kaija or Senna as he would be heart broken to stick around he knew they would be happier alone together. Kovu would always be there for Senna no matter what she does to him.

Kaija twitched his nose, the blood was tickeling, even though the cut was painful. He watched as Kovu padded over to him, murder in his eyes. The Brute pushed him over and threatened him. The Beta steadied himself back up, and prepared to defend himself incase of attack, which was quite possible. Kovu seemed to be torn between attacking him and not atacking him. He watched as the Brute made his desision, and wandered off, presumably to calm down.
The cut was sending pangs of pain through his nose, but he tried to stay strong. Kaija was on the verge of answering Senna when she asked him if he was OK, but instead she trotted over and cleaned the blood up. As she stepped back and watched him, he sent her a smile, and looked back over to where Kovu had gone. He would've felt sorry for the Brute, if he hadn't have attacked him, but because of his nose, he felt no simpathy for the Alpha.
The Beta took a step towards Senna, and licked her muzzle as a sign of affection.
Notes: I will let Senna reply to your last post Jack, i'm unsure how Kaija would react to it =]

Senna watched as the brute sent her a smile, producing one of her own. There was no way of denying it now, she started to like Kaija more than just a friend. All thoughts of Kovu were started to become replaced with thoughts of her beta, the only thought that remained of her mate was how furious he would be if he caught her and Kaija doing this. Oddly enough, she just pushed that to the back of her mind, especially when she felt the brute lean close to her and lick her face. She felt her stomach go fluttery. So much for being a emotionles, cruel alphess. But, she moved close to him and laid her head on his chest, burrowing her snout in his fur with another smile on her face.
Her smile quickly faded as she heard the sobs coming from Kovu. She looked up to see the once detirmined brute's face, but it was replaced with tears and sadness. It was obvious that he knew about the two, but when she heard him say he dropped the position of alpha, her feelings were mixed. She wasn't sure if she was sad about him leaving, or furious that he was crying like that and him leaving her behind. She simply looked at him with her ears pinned back against her skull. She had no idea what to say to him. What could she say? Her own mate was leaving her, and yet he said he loved her. She felt betrayed, and yet hurt. But, there was nothing she could do to change his decision. The worst part, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to.
"..Kovu-" Whatever else she was about to say quickly died her in mouth when she saw Kovu turning his back on the Skyla lands and left. She looked down to the corner of her eyes, only now aware that Kaija was still present to hear all that. She turned to look at him, sending him an apologetic look and an attempted smile. Despite that whole situation, she still liked Kaija. "I'm sorry about all that.."
