Kovu felt the pain of Kaija's claws sink in to his skin Kovu let out a yelp, Kovu watched Kaija's reactions he carefully watched his eyes they flickered back to Senna Kovu quickly pounced on Senna careful not to hurt her. but he knocked her over
Kovu was quick to ran at Kaija and he bit the back of Kaija's neck hard and teared a small chunck of flesh off of his neck.

After Kaija dismounted her, she produced a large grin on her maw, peering up at the brute. In a way, she couldn't believe what she had just done; there was a possibility now that he had gotton her pregnant. Her. Out of all femme's, she would never have imagined herself having little welps of her own running around. On the other hand, she wouldn't have taken back what she had done for anything. Maybe it was about time she had some pups, she was an alphess after all, and her position would be more respected if she had her own heir.
Suddenly, she heard a threatening voice boom throughout the darkness. It was Kovu. He ran striaght out of hiding, colliding head-first into Kaija in a frenzyed-rage. She never seen him so angered before..had he been watching..? "You can't just reclaim your position unless you fight for it." It was true. No wolf no matter what there former rank, couldn't just walse back into the pack and say they waqnt there old position back. You had to work for it. Sometimes, even die for it. But, that was the way of the wolf. She watched as the two manuvered there bodies, fighting for every bit of strengh in the coiling muscles.. but she knew by the look of it who was winning, and it wasn't Kaija. He was loosing more blood than Kovu. She was in a daze, only to be knocked out of it when Kovu pounced on her, knocking her to the ground. She didn't even realize he was coming she was that focosed in her thought's. Once she retaliated, she quickly rose to her feet and growled, her hackles raised in defense and her fur bristling on end. She knew that Kovu would probubly not harm her, but she was harming something close enough to her. Her mate. |

Kaija yelped in pain as a large chunk of flesh was ripped from the back of his neck, if the wound head been a couple of inches to the left, then the injury would have been fatel. His head was spinning now, and he was struggling to keep a visual on Kovu. He could just make out the outline of the Brute, pouncing at Senna, and it looked like she had been knocked to the ground.
Kaija snarled and launched himself at Kovu, batting him across the face with his sharpt claws, and keeping a firm grip on his back. he sunk his teeth into the back of the Brutes own neck, biting harder and harder with anger, before being thrown off. He landed on his paws, and attacked Kovu again, this time going for his throut ...

Kovu let out a large yelp as Kaija's claws scraped his face it was bleeding heavily but Kovu could see he was winning "It it the best you can do Kaija? Not strong are you think you can protect Senna" the brute laughed at the brutes efforts before feeling a sharp sensation in the back on his neck Kovu let out a large growl before shaking the brute off.
Kovu stood as Kaija landed on his feet and about to charge again, Kovu move to the side slighty as Kaija ran in to the tree he let out a small laugh Kovu noticed the brute was having a hard time seeing him but Kovu wondered why his alphess wasn't helping. Kovu didn't care as if Senna attacked him he wouldn't attack back as he could easily over power her.
Kovu stood and notice the brute fall he couldn't tell if he past out or Kaija was faking it, Kovu approched slowly and with one swift move Kovu had hold of Kaija's neck his canines slowly sank in to the brutes neck, Kovu let go.
Kovu quickly let go and ran over to Senna Kovus blood was boiling now Senna was having Kaija's pups Kovu grabbed Kaija's scruff and dragged him over to Senna there was a blood trail when the brute had been "Look what you have done" A large growl quickly followed his words. Kovu placed his paw on Kaija's wound where the skin used to be, Kovu bent down and wispered "I could finish you off, but I am not that low and you better take care of her or next time will be your last understand" Kovu's words were pure evil he meant every word which crept out of his mouth "I will be leaving you guys alone now, I am going over to Xyla lands" Kovu began his long treck.

Senna tried averting her blue spheres away from the fight, but it was no use. They wandered back over to the two brutes, who were snarling in rage and ripping at each other with there razor-like fangs. She would have liked to stop it, but that would be going against her rules. They were fighting for the title of alpha, she couldn't interfere. She watched, feeling alittle helpless, as her new mate was struggling to keep up with Kovu. He stubled slightly, possibly due to the loss of blood, trying to charge at the brute. Yet, Kovu easily veered to the side and dodged it. The pitch alphess scowled to herself. She wanted to just go in there and rip out Kovu's throat in her own fury, but she couldn't. Kaija would be angry with her, and she'd be defying pack rules.
She jumped up to her feet as Kovu dragged Kaija's body towards her, growling savagely at him. Him, her former mate, causing all this to her. Then again, look what she had done to him. As he made his last threats and headed towards the Xyla, she made haste to run to Kaija's side. He had many wounds, and was bleeding badly. This was the second time in one day that he had suffered a brutal attack. One more, and he probubly won't be so lucky. She licked his gashes and cuts, trying to make the blood stop. Some did, some didn't. She raised her head to look at him."..Are you alright..?"

Kaija yelped in pain as he collided heas first with the tree. Kovu had managed to slip out of the way without Kaija seeing. He shuck his head twice, but still everything infront of him swam, and he eventualy began to feel dizzy, when a huge pain in the back of his neck erupted. Kovu had sunk his teeth into his wound. Kaija snarled in pain, but the more he tried to shake the Brute off, the harder his teeth kept a grip on his neck. Kaija finaly flopped to the floor, feeling the blood running down his back. Another pain erupted, and he felt himself being dragged over the rough ground, and then flopped to the floor again, his head landing with a plod on the hard ground.
Kaija opened his eyes slightly to see Kovu threatening Senna, and then walk off towards the Xyla. Surely Kishi wouldn't let him in after this? Yet again, she didn't know. She stirred his head slightly to feel the warm feeling of Senna licking at his wounds. When the feeling of blood pouring stopped, he made an attemp to sit up, and managed, with some pain. ... Are you alright ...?
Thoughts were swimming around in his head. If he stayed here, then Kovu would no doubt come to finish him off, and may hurt Senna too. Kaija had just made himself a fatal Enimy. He couldn't risk getting Senna hurt like he was, and so came to the decision.
Senna, i have to go. He said softly, standing up slowly. I can't hold him off any longer, and if i stay, then you will end up getting hurt. He said, even more soflty. The words sounded right as he said them, and he hoped she wouldn't take it the wrong way.
If anything happens, you know where to find me. He said, licking her head. Kaija then began making his way to the outsider lands, exiting the clearing before she could say anything that would make him turn back. But then he had another thought, and changed course, heading for the waterfalls, where he knew of a cave that he could hide in, and nobody would find him for the time being.
((This is so Kovu can come back after his visit to Xyla, and Senna can work out she is expecting pups. =])) |

Senna's ears perked up to hear his words. They slowly sank in, echoeing throughout her mind, but she didn't want him to leave. Not after everything that happened. What if he got hurt on the way? After he explained why he should leave, she cast her guilt filled eyes to the ground. She knew well that he was right, and that Kovu was bound to come back. Still, she didn't want him to leave her. Once she was about to try and keep him back, instead she nodded her head in acceptance and smiled lightly. True, she couldn't bare to see him leave the Skyla for awhile, but if he stayed Kovu would certainly come back to kill him. After Kaija licked her head, he trotted off. She watched as his figure slowly dissappeared in the distance, and layed flat on her stomach. Now what was she supposed to do? All of her remaining pack members up and left her. Really, it was just her. One in banishment, one left, and another went out in hiding. All she could do now, was wait. Loosening a sigh, she got up, and went patroling her land.
