The alphess walked in proud and dignified strides through the meadow. She had gotton the quiet time she needed, with no interruptions or fights. It was pretty nice. It's been two weeks since the death of Kovu. She thought about him, but only rarely. She had her new mate, Kaija to think about now. The only thing she didn't know, was that she was pregnant with his pups. She showed no signs of pregnancy yet. Not even a swollen belly, but it was soon coming. Yet, she has no idea.. She was alittle bored lately. She ached to go out and maul some unsuspecting victim to death, which was why she came to the meadow. There were plenty of animals that lurnked and hid in the tall grass, but she'd be able to sniff them out and "play" with them for awhile. Smirking lightly, she stood up to observe her surroundings. From what she could see, there were a few deer grazing the lush grasses, but they kept swinging there head up in alert, there ears swiveling about. Those things were always so precautious, even when there was no danger about. She was about to go after them, when another scent hit her. Quite the weird scent. It wasn't anything she smelled before. It wasn't deer or rabbit, neither was it wolf or centaur..So what was it?
A rustle in the nearby bushes caught her attention. Whatever it was, was moving towards her. It was certainly brave, for if it came too close in her bloodlust mood, it would probably suffer the consequences. She stood where she was, waiting for her victim to draw closer. How stupid was it! It should've caught her scent long ago and turned back while it had the chance. It was too late now. It was near her grasp, the sounds off snapping twigs beneath somethings feet made he anxcious. Then, it appeared. Her looked at it in suprise..and slight amusment. What is that..? It had a narrow face, and satellites-..giant ears on it's head. It was canine-like..but it certainly wasn't no wolf or hybrid. It was..different. And slightly humorous looking thing.
"I would be a jackel, and your guardian. But I suppose you could call me Hanataro."
Her face dropped all emotion. It talked, she knew that.. but it's mouth didn't move an inch. That wasn't possible. Was she seeing things? It wasn't like he could read her mind.. No..now your just going crazy. He can't read your mind- Oh, I can't, can I..? Well..you must be insane." Sennas eyes widened for a moment. Again, the creature didn't move his lips..the only thing that existed on it was a smirk. This was impossible. He can't read her mind! ..Then again, there were magical centaurs that roamed the island to own all packs, so why shouldn't she believe this? Slowly, her mind came around the thought, and figured that it was feesible that he could. Plus, she's seen other things that would make you think your crazy. This island was famous for doing such things to you.
The jackel moved closer to her, staring at her straight in the face. The only thing she was thinking on was knawing off his. You wouldn't want to do that to your Opakti, now would you? Damn it! Again with a smirk. She had no idea what he was talking about, and it agitated her. The jackel started to swivel its radars-..ears about, as if he was hearing something. She listened silently as well. Nothing. What is he doing..? "There's someone coming.." That seemed impossible as well. She strained her ears to listen, but heard no one approach. What was he talking about? There was no one comi- Then, she smelt it. Another wolf. She looked at the jackel in amusement. Well, at least those enormous ears on his head were great for hearing.
(Carried away..and I had to meet her guardian, if it's ok. =P) |

Naomi stopped and stood boldly not to seem timid. Naomi watched the faes movements Hello, I am looking for the alphess of Skyla, I believe her name is Senna. Naomi was looking for acceptance in to the Skyla pack although she didn't know where to find the alphess. She had been watching the Skyla pack and from what she saw the fae standing in front of her was the alphess. She watched the recent happenings with the change of alpha, Naomi was careful as she knew that the fae might be pregnant. Naomi didn't get along with brutes to well as how powerful they was and most knew so she used to end up in fights with many brutes. Naomi watched the two figures reactions. Naomi watched as a herd of deer began to graze in the field she tried to stop the urge from attacking on of the large bucks. Which stood keeping watch she enjoyed killing sprees and hunting she stood looking at the two figures for now.
She kept looking back at the deer her instinct got the best of her, she lowered her body and slowly approached the large male buck it wasn't the largest one. Naomi walked behind the large deer as the deer put his head down to graze Naomi ran through the large bucks legs and opened her jaw to quickly clamp it down on to the bucks neck. The rest of the deer scattered Naomi's powerful jaws clamped down cutting the supply of air to the deers throat. Naomi felt the still warm blood drip down her throat, as the deers body fell and became lifeless. Naomi released the deer's neck as the head fell with a dull thump. Naomi licked the neck clear from the blood and looked at the puncture marks left in the bucks neck. Naomi walked back over to the two figure Sorry about that I am sure you understand when she need a little killing spree Naomi stood as her blood stained chest dripped of the deers blood.
(hope its ok =] Just wondering new alphas usually try to get all females pregnant in a pack with less than 10 members so could kaija mate Naomi and she gives birth to stillborns other than one or something)

Senna waited for the wolf to appear, its scent grower stronger as it neared. Her sharp claws dug firmly into the earth. She was tempted to rush into the tall, swaying grasses and lunge for it's neck, then torture it to death. Still, she would only do that if she didn't like the wolf.. or if she was really bored. Finally, an alabaster fae appeared from the grass, a bold stature present on her figure. Not the best stance to put on infront of an alpha. Judging by her question though, she didn't seem to know who was alpha around here, so she let it slip. Senna puffed out her chest and slowly walked towards her. "Your right, and I'm the alphess to these lands.. Tell me, what is your business here?" She was getting tired of saying that age-old question. Usually, a wolf had no "business" in her territory, unless they wanted acceptance into the pack, or they were from it.
The jackels whiskers flickered attentively, watching the newcomer closely. It looked as if it was observing her. What was his purpose with her anyways? All he explained to her was that he was her "opakti". "I'm your guardian.. I pretty much have to protect you and stuff.." Suddenly, his narrow face turned towards her, a menacing smirk creased his lips. "Unless you piss me off." What he meant by that, Senna didn't know. She didnt understand why he had to do that for her anyways. She thought she was pretty capable of protecting herself, so why should she need a little runt like him fo help? "So.. Your pretty much my slave now, huh Hanah?" Hanataros smirk quickly deminished, revealing a sort of angered face. "Don't push it."
Shifting her attention back to the femme, she noticed her stalking off after a young buck. Her auds flattened across her head. Did she only come here for the food? She certainly hoped not, otherwise she made a fetal mistake. She sat back, and watched the fae eventually take down her prey, only to take a few laps of blood from it.. and that was it. Her pink togue slipped between parted jaws and licked her chops. What she wouldn't do to keep that buck alive for abit longer, only to knaw at it to watch it suffer.. The jackel looked at her in amusment, a snicker escaping his maw. By now, she asumed he could very well listen to her thoughts. Besides, he was always making a different gesture to the different things she thought about. Sorry about that. I am sure you understand when someone needs a little killing spree. Senna turned her focus back onto the femme, merely blinking at her comment. How did she know she liked that sort of stuff?-Then again, word could've gotton out about it. She didn't mind the thought of it though. Maybe that way, other wolves will learn to stay out of her way. "I suppose." She finally spoke, no hint of any feeling in her voice. Hanataro simply sat back, glanceing between both fae's, still looking like an observer. She wondered how much of an annoyance he would be in the furture. Personally for Senna, he looked like a little runt with elephant ears who would need her protection. She returned her gaze back to the loner, waiting for a response.
(It's fine. ^^ And alpha's usually only breed with the other alpha(their mate) to get her only pregnant..but, I do have another wolf, if you want to mate with him.(Flint ! xD) =P) |

Naomi watches as the alphess turned her glare to her, I am after acceptance in to your pack, if you'll have me she smirked. Naomi stood proud watching the strange creature near Senna. Naomi watched as the deer lay dead You may have that if you wish for a present maybe Naomi stood and looked at the alphess, she didn't know what to say. Naomi came here looking for a powerful pack and it looked like she found it but she wanted to meet the other members but she wanted to get to know the alphess first. Naomi looked around and notice the deer start slowly walking back over to the grazing spot where the carcess of the dead deer lay. Naomi sat waiting to see the alphesses reply. Naomi sat with nothing else to do other than start to turn her glare at the small figure it looked as though it was talking although she couldn't hear it. Naomi couldn't do nothing but wait.
(Could Naomi be Senna's long lost sister? my post will be better when I have something to reply to)

Senna sat and lisitened, and as she anticipated, the fae asked for acceptance in the pack. Wise choice, for if she just said she was wandering, she'd be dead by now. Senna rose back onto all fours, creating a smirk of her own. "Well, in that case, your accepted." What made her acept her so quickly, was the fact that she still held her detirmined, bold stance, not at all scared. Beseides, that's what she needed in a sub'ordinate. Bold, and not to mention strong. She already proved that she might be strong enough, since she could handle a buck on her own. She looked over at the dead deer as she offered her it. She revealed a menacing smile. This fae was already proving to be a good member already, giving her food to her like that. She nodded her head, and walked silently towards the body. She grasped it's already stiffened neck, and lifted it up in the air. Blood dripped down from it's puncture wounds, looking like sheets of scarlet rain. She kerked her head back, tearing and ripping apart chunks of meat as she did, and ate the meat.
Hanataro returned his glare at the new member, not even making a flinch. She laughed to herself. He looked alittle comical like that, he was smaller than her but had the bravery to give her a taunting glare. Senna then looked back at the fae, but something instantly triggered in her mind. A thought she always hated to have. She looks familiar to me.. Even though she was behind her, she thought she remembered someone who looked similar to that..but who? Curious, she motioned back in front of her new member to take a better look at her. She was shocked by her appearence, but she held the emotion back from appearing on her face. She only knew one wolf who had such a marking on her forehead.. but that couldn't be right. If it was who she thought it was, then she just accepted her younger sister into her pack without knowing it.
She had a brother, and two sisters, but her youngest sister Naomi wasn't seen of as much as the other two. Come to think about it, she didn't really see Naomi that much when she was a pup. That was probably because of her old packs brutal ways, always forcing pups to fight with others so someone would end up dying for there amusement. Still, she'd know a face like that anywhere, but just to make sure, she had to ask one question. "..What is your name?"

Naomi looking at the strange figure and raise her eye brow who is that? Naomi smiled at the strange creature but couldn't help but laugh at the strange animal. Naomi turned her glare at the fae and her left eye began to fill with a tear, she held back the urge to cry until she knew if she was looking at the face of her older sister. Naomi stood and looked into a small puddle to notice her eyes which were very much a like the faes but she couldn't build up her hopes or jump to conclusions. Naomi could hope that Senna remembered but Naomi couldn't remember anything other than having a hard up bringing being passed from wolf to wolf, Naomi stood tall looking in to the eyes of the fae and returned her glaze to the puddle before looking over to the feild awaiting to faes reply she hoped for the best.
(Yey its a better post it will get longer as the thread goes on =]) |

As soon as she gave Senna her name, she instantly knew that it was her younger sister. Naomi seemed to know it as well. Her eyes closed half-ways as she told why she hadn't been around too often as a pup. Her explanation seemed feesable, seeing as her old pack wouldn't hold back from banishing or killing any member who defied them. Naomi was lucky she got banished. All these years she just thought that she got killed by some other ignorent member of the pack, but she was alive, all this time. "I remember you too.. but I was so sure that my little sister perished." Her brother and other sister died from being forced into battle, and she thought she was the only remaining survivor of her family. Well, was she proved wrong.
"..Who is that?"
"Hmm?" Senna's eyes traveled to where Naomis eyes were set. She was talking about that little jackel that proclaimed to be her "guardian". She still didn't quite understand why he was, but she didn't feel like argueing with him. "Oh him.. His name is Hanataro. Apparently I can only hear him.." That confused her slightly. Why couldn't anyone else hear him but her? He stood up, walking up to Naomi, whiskers violently twitching. All he did was stand in front of her, an insane looking smirk slowly forming on his maw. Senna quirked an eyebrow at him. He was certainly a strange little thing. She watched Naomi, who was now laughing at the look of the little runt. Yet, as she turned to look at her, she noticed a tear stream down her face. Hanataro just looked at her with a ackward face. What was wrong with her? Senna took a few steps towards Naomi, unsure of what was bothering her. "Hey.. you alright?" |

Naomi stood as she heard another noise Are you going to show me the rest of you pack? Naomi playfully pushed against Senna. Naomi smiled but she forgot about the other figure, Naomi began to walk in the way of the sound so are you going to show be around? Naomi smirked at the fae. |

Apparently Naomi thought the same thing; that all of her family had been slaughtered. Despite being a sort of ruthless animal, Senna was glad to know that at least someone from her family other than her was still alive and well. She looked down at her as she tucked her muzzle under her chin. She wasn't used to it, but then again, no fae did that to her. If it was someone else, she would have beat them off of her. Since it was her sister though, she simply returned a friendly nuzzle back. Suddenly, she felt her ears perk up, swiveling around to a noise. She looked alittle alarmed by it, but to Senna, there was no danger lurking in the woods behind them. She detirmined that answer as soon as she smelt the scent, and it was no dought Kaija. Lately, she hasn't been at ease around him, simply because she needed time by herself for a while. She had gotten that wish, but now she kind of missed the brute.
"Mhm. That's Kaija, he's alpha of the pack, and he's my mate." A proud, sort of twisted smile appeared on her mouth. She thought she was the last one who would gain a mate when she was younger. Well, wasn't she ever proven wrong. "Are you going to show me the rest of you pack?" Her voice pushed her out of her thoughts.. or more like she pushed Senna herself. The wolfess smirked, looking as if she was going to takle her, but jumped to the side of her instead. "Hmm. I might if you behave, little pup." She was only teasing of course. The jackel, still sitting there, seemed highly amused by all this. How did he find any of that funny? "'Cause your too soft, that' what." She shouldn't have even asked. Or thought about it..
Hanataro gestured his head towards the forest, and got up to walk towards it. She might as well, seeing as Naomi wanted to see the rest of the pack. There was only two others, so it shouldn't be that hard to introduce them to her sister. Senna walked past the fae, following the smaller canine. "I'll show you around and introduce you to the others, if you want." Even if she said no, her little opakti seemed detirmined on going exploring her lands anyways. Instead, she waited for an answer. |
