White paws ghosted over water logged grass. Ears flicked for the first sign of movement, and a long white tail was frozen in waiting. Green eyes were wide with pup-like curiousity. I wonder why no one is out here. It's wonderful weather, yet I smell other wolves. Powerful wolves... A grin spread over my face and my eyes darkened with serious ambition, one hardly ever seen on my innocent face. No one was going to put me down.
That was for sure.
With amazing grace, for normally such a clumsy wolf, hardly a sound was made as I jumped onto a large rock. I scraped my hindpaws and was finally on a large enough rock to see the wonderful fields. I took a deep breath, reveling in the wonderful smells of nature. The birds, the rain, the trees, such wonderful things that most wolves forget. I stared at the sky and happily yipped, of course quietly, to the sky.
"I hope I can catch something today!"

Padding along the soaked grass, Kaija observed his lands. The storm was clearly on its way, and it looked as though it would be a bad one, so he wished to make sure that all of his pack members were somewhere safe, away from the dangers. It wasn't something he would usualy done, but the Raven had warned him about this perticular batch of weather, he had told him that it would be the worse this island had ever seen, and it would be a good idea to get all those close to him to safety, before the centre of the storm hit them. And so that was what he was doing, searching for those few pack members who remained members.
He examined his surroundings, to spot the outline of a wolf in the sistance. Kaija padded towards it, assuming that it was a member. As he neared, the scent hit the Brutes nose, and he instanly knew that this was not a pack member after all. It was a Fae, who seemed to be unaware of the current weather.
"May i ask you what you are doing here on these lands?" With this wolf being a loner, he wasn't bothered about her safety, he was more bothered about why she was on his lands without consulting him or Senna first.
((Sorry its crap lol))

I happily tested the rock quietly making sure I didn't slip to far as I jumped down onto the ground once more. It was a nice day but it probably wouldn't last. It never did. I sighed quietly and scratched my ear, feeling my back end get wet. I snickered slightly. I was bored and right now anything would amuse me. Wonder what's it's like when it's sunny?
As I sat and pondered that I didn't see the approaching figure. My sight was quite horrible but I smelt a brute. Strong one too. I yawned quietly and waited. Maybe he could tell me something about this nice place. I wanted to hunt but I should wait for his answer, maybe he is part of one of those packs.
When he asked me what I was doing I smiled.
"I was just passing through, mister Brute." I cocked my head as my ears flicked."Are you in one of those pack thingys? Cause I heard those are like a giant wolf family with a bunch of other wolves! That would creepy. The sky is nice...."

Kaija sat and watched the Fae, waiting for her reply. The rain was beating down, and he could see the flashes of light from the forks of electric that hit the ground, closely followed by the deep crash of thunder, proving that the centre of the storm was not far away. The rain made the ground even more boggy, and Kaija could feel his paws sinking into the soppy mud.
'I was just passing through, mister Brute.' Kaija listened to how the Fae said 'mister Brute'. No one had ever called him that before, infact, he coulnd't recall having ever hearing someone being called this before. 'Are you in one of those pack thingys? Cause I heard those are like a giant wolf family with a bunch of other wolves! That would creepy. The sky is nice....' "Yes, i am Kaija, Alpha of the Skyla, one of the big wolf families, as you so fondly called them." He said, smiling. This wolf struck him as odd, 'nice skies?' Kaija looked up, as far as he was concerned, the skies may look sort of OK, a nice shade of dark blood colour, but the weather that joined it wasn't fantastic, much to wet for his personal liking. Of course, Kaija didn't mind the rain, but not when it was like this, so heavy and hard, it was incredibly uncomfortable.

I stared up at the raining sky, mesmerized by it's beauty. It was nice, and of course, I loved the rain. My white pelt, was soaked with water as my ears flicked small raindrops in the air. My green eyes stared over at the brute.
"Yes, i am Kaija, Alpha of the Skyla, one of the big wolf families, as you so fondly called them."
Alpha? So he was a male leader. I flicked my ears once more smiling.
"My name is Hoshi! I'm not in any family." I smiled. I wanted to be in one though. It was always nice to have a big family. But families that didn't care about one of their own should be destroyed, burned, everyone should be murdered.
Families were there for a reason. Not for a sick joke. My eye twitched, with still a happy smile on my face.
"Is your family big?" I asked childishly, hoping to join, but only if I could sense pride. Pride....such a fun thing to hear.
((Sorry, lost my password...Heh.))

Kaija watched the femme with interest. She was smiling alot, even if the rain was nasty. My name is Hoshi! I'm not in any family. Hoshi? The name sounded familiar to his ears, but he couldn't quite remember where he had heard it before. "well hello Hoshi, nice to meet you." He said with a smile.
Is your family big? He thought about this for a moment. Suddenly alot of wolves had been wanting to join their pack, and he knew from sightings that the Skylas sworn enimies, the Liazo, had been biulding up their pack. But what was with all the new members? He didn't know their were this many wolves on the Island. It's growing well, yes. He said fondly, thinking of his pack. Was she thinking of joining, or just curious?
(( Sorry, museless =[ ))

"well hello Hoshi, nice to meet you."
My tail wagged slightly as I cocked my head. He wasn't thinking strangely of me, was he? The lock of fur over my eye bounced slightly as I stood up. I hated when people thought strangely of me.
Was he calling me stupid?
Was he calling me names?
I supressed the urge to glare and snarl, with little effort. I never tried to fool people into thinking I liked them. I just knew they were talking about me behind my back. Was the rest of his pack like this? All talking behind your back, eyes burning like flames, fanged mouths open in mocking laughter. I stared up at the sky, hiding my glare. I hated people who thought they could control me with sweet talking. I knew they talked! They always talked! They didn't like me! They thought I was stupid!
The rage cleared my green eyes as I stared happily back at the brute. "Nice to meet you too, Kaija." He had a smile on his face as well, though I couldn't discern if he was being mocking. I wasn't all to sure anymore.
The rain was falling down, and I felt no need to stray into a safe warm den. What's wrong with being cold? It makes me feel like a dead wolf sometimes. That is a wonderful feeling. I scratched my white ear with my right leg, the one with the scar from my dead brother. Looking at it brought back so many good memories. My silver ringed tail twitched as he answered my second question.
"It's growing well, yes."
I smiled. Fond memories of his pack. I stood up proudly, my water logged coat sleek, and my ears perked.
"I want to join Skyla." I smiled.
What is going to happen next?
((My muse is in overdrive.))

The Brute lowered his head slightly to keep the rain out of his eyes, but still stood with pride and dominance. Nice to meet you too, Kaija. He nodded with a warm smile on his maw. Hoshi was wagging her tail, which meant she was happy, right? As he answered her question about the pack, he notised her eyes shift to her right leg, which had a large scar going down it. Kaija was tempted to ask how she got it, but didn't, that would be just being nosy.
I want to join Skyla. The question came as quite a shock to him, he hadn't expected her to ask when she had told him she was just passing through. Perhaps his words had changed her mind? Kaija circled her, taking in her apearance. Well ... she stood like a Skyla, she looked as though she could fight well, he would have to test her. You do? Well, before i can accept you in, i will need to test you. He said calmly. Kaija took a look around, spotting a small herd of animals a little way away. I want you to catch one of those animals and kill it. He said, nodding at the herd. Not only would this test her hunting skills, it would also test her strength, agility, and the power to choose the right animal wisely. You can choose which animal He said with a smile.
(( Wanna lend some of that muse to me? xD ))

You do? Well, before i can accept you in, i will need to test you. He said calmly. My eyes hardly changed as I stared at him. I was strong and he wasn't going to break me. My demeanor changed once more as my ears swiveled slightly, my eyes glaring with driving rage. Hoshi, wasn't going to go down easily. My tail twitched slightly as I stared at him. This brute wasn't going to be easy to fight...
I want you to catch one of those animals and kill it. Hunt? Oh, my best thing. My demeanor changed once again to my happy side. "Awesome! I love hunting!!" I grinned, my tail wagging. I love hunting cause I thought I was great at it. My green eyes analyzed quickly. It was a herd of deer, from what I could see. My sight wasn't the best in the world. Rain clouded my vision further. I blinked the water out of my eyes and saw the perfect vantage point up ahead.
Was he going to choose my target? Make it hard for me to do something that it was impossible for him to even do? Brutes are sometimes have a large ego on their shoulder, I waited for more information as I stared out into the rain. You can choose which animal He smiled.
I blinked, he wasn't going to make me fail miserably. He was nicer than I thought. I shrugged and nodded. "Thank you Kaija." I said nicely.
I felt sorta bad for jumping to conculsions, but who knows. He could be acting very well. I started out, trying to hide myself where the deer couldn't see me. My white coat was hard to blend into the grasses, and I learned to make up for that with quick running.
Believe me, I've tripped so many times, that I probably could have a crater named after my body. My tail swished as I crouched down. I wasn't exactly sure that Kaija would still let me in his 'pack' even if I caught something.
I stared at the weakest member of the herd. It was a small deer...nothing appetizing about that. I stared at the mother...She smelled strongly of milk...She just gave birth! A twisted smirk appeared on my muzzle as the lock of white fur fell into my eye again. I calmly surveyed the area, and grinned. A large rock, that a wolf of small size could climb on would be a perfect jumping place. I grinned devilishly as I backtracked to Kaija. "Hi." I grinned as I passed him, heading to the rock. I scrambled onto the rock, almost falling a few times from the water. I grumbled slightly as I cursed my curiousity.
I took my place staring down to the grassy fields for a least a minute or two as the first buck walked under me. The doe was a nice piece of meat, and if I was right, the little one could be knocked out with one kick. However, I was normally wrong, and I was just going to go with the doe. As soon as she got under me I kick a rock at the buck distracting him, leaping on the earlier doe. I landed akwardly, growling in pain as I quickly leapt up, stumbling grabbing the does throat. I narrowly dodged the bucks' angry hooves, and I dragged the doe over slightly. I crushed her neck, feeling the sweet taste of blood on my tounge as I growled angrily at the buck. I couldn't reach it's neck, but I grinned and bit at it's legs. I knew that I would need more wolves to take down a buck of this size.
I growled hatefully as the ran off the little deer crying for it's mother. I lost respect for the herd, as they ran off leaving it and I smiled sadly at the thing, rushing in to kill it. I easily crushed it's neck, it braying slightly, as it fell limp.
I dropped the dead fawn on top of the mother and laid down panting. That took a lot of energy out of me. I picked myself up carefully panting slightly.
I wonder if I was in.

'Awesome! I love hunting!!'
'Thank you, Kaija'
The green eyed Brute bowed his head, as sign for her to go. He watched her stand on all fours, and switch her gaze to the herd. He too, took a long look at the animals, trying to single out the best choice for her to go for. Their were quiet a few options, a young buck, whos antlers had only just begun to grow. A small Doe, who was prancing around at the edge of the group, out of the safety of cover. And then their was the large mother, who seemed to have just finished giving birth to a fawn, she wouldn't be easy to take down, but it was possible, depending on the wolfs strength.
Kaija turned to look at Hoshi again, who was padding up towards him. She grinned as she passed, muttering a quick 'hi' as she continued on her way to her desired destination. The Brute watched as she found herself a nice rock to hide behind. Oh, no, she was perching on top of it. Then Kaija twigged what she was doing, she had chosen to go for the mother. It was up and walking now, quickly followed by her fawn. The Deer had absolutely no idea that Hoshi was there, and were paying no attention to him, clearly thinking that a lone wolf was no threat.
The female Doe was now directly underneath Hoshi, but the femme was busy watching the buck, whom the Doe was following. She neatly kicked a small rock towards the buck, distarcting it, as she went in for the kill. Crafty ... Kaija thought to himself. The Fae jumped down from her rock, landing strangely. She looked as though she was in pain, but Kaija didn't stand up to help. If she was to become a Skyla, then she would have to be strong, not let a mere injury like that get her down, but Kaija didn't believe she was weak, and he was right. Hoshi quickly righted herself, and lunged at the Does throut, collecting it into a tight grip. She manouvered her head wisely, moving it out of the way of thrashing hooves, and getting into a possition that made it impossible for the Doe to breath. It wasn't long before the Deer fell limp, choked by Hoshis crushing jaws. Crimson blood splatted the floor as she released her grip, letting the Doe fall to the floor.
'Well, she is a good hunter, as far as i can tell, doesn't give in because of injuries, and has a certain cheek to her. I think she will make a good Skyla wolf. The Brute thought to himself as he watched, waiting for her to come over. But no, their was more. Hoshi turned her attention to the Buck, who had merely stood and watched as one of his herd got attacked, and murdered. It lowered its antlers at Hoshi, standing in a way that made him look bigger than he actually was. What was she doing now? Wait ... she's not ... ! His eyes widened in horror as the Femme made her way towards the Buck. Their was no way she could take down that thing by herself! He was about to stand up, to help if he was needed, only to see that she was merely biting its legs, threatening it, telling it to back off. The Buck fled, quickly followed by his herd, leaving the fawn standing by its self, calling for its dead mother. Some wolves would have felt slightly simpathetic for the young deer, but not Kaija, in his eyes, Deer were only on this Island to feed the wolves, to help them to survive.
Whether Hoshi felt sympathetic or not was unknown to him, because before he knew it, she had walked up to the Fawn, and crushed its neck, letting it fall ontop of its dead mother. Kaija slowly padded over to her as she lay on the floor, panting. "Well ... their is no doubt about it. Welcome to the pack." He said, smiling warmly, then a thought struck him, Senna. "But, you will have to go through the Alphess before you are an official member." He sat quietly, awaiting her responce.
(( Wow, i am on a role lol! I shall let you know when he has called the next meeting. Because i believe athe moment, the Alphess is giving birth lool ))

I panted harshly, my pink tongue lolling slightly out of my mouth. It was hard to hunt when you're so lazy. I stood, not affected at all by my panting. It really was just a front. You wouldn't want to piss off a Alpha, was it? I shrugged. I wanted to see this pack, not only for curiosity, but also for selfish reasons. If this pack was cruel like hers, and she saw that no one would take care of a lowly pup or shaman, she chuckled. There wouldn't BE a pack for her to leave. I laid down once more and scratched my ear with my back right leg.
Watching as the brute came closer she wondered what his verdict would be, as she had no idea about the wolves that she heard lived in packs. Some could be nice but some could be annoying and irresponsible. Shaking my white furred head, my tail wagging slightly I stared to the alpha, with determination.
"Well ... their is no doubt about it. Welcome to the pack." He said it nicely. I smiled thanking him.
"But, you will have to go through the Alphess before you are an official member."
"Alphess? Such weird families...I'm going to enjoy this!" I grinned staring at the brute.
((Gotcha, I'll wait. I was in the Hospital, so sorry for the late response))
