The day was coming to a close, and as the sun shot out a few last beams of light, a solitary wolf made his way down the marshy bank. His coat a sleek, silvery white, the male looked healthy and happy, but in truth, he was troubled. He'd made his way from across the lands to become an Alpha to the Laizo pack, and soon it would be time to meet them. He stood on the hill, looking down across the marsh, and even past that, to the packlands. A breeze blew his fur across his body, and for a second, he looked dangerously angry. Any other wolves hurt his new pack, and they'd be history. Sure, he was laid-back, not judgemental, but he'd fight to the death to protect the pack - the pack his father had been born to. Sighing heavily, a peaceful look flitted across the white male's handsome maw, and he waded into the water. It came up to the middle of his foreleg, but it was cooling; he enjoyed the water immensly. He looked around himself, and saw a sight that always filled him with joy; a red poppy. He plucked it carefully from the bank, and held it in his mouth, his eyes closed as he felt the last rays of sun.

Sukie looked around when she saw a rather large wolf carrying something in its maw, The tiny pup slowly approached the brute keeping her body and head low in a submissive way to show she was no threat 'H.. hello sir' she stuttered in a high pitched voice, Her head turned to notice a few Lilly's which floated gracefully on the water she push off the side of the bank and landed on the lily pad which was in bloom as a white flower rested upon the leaf, Her light weight body was perfect for her to sit on the lily pad without it sinking, she only sat on the leaf because she felt safe knowing the large brute wouldn't be able to get to her.

Looking up, the white wolf smiled slightly. He could guess that she was kind of scared - he was huge, and she was a tiny pup. Inclining his head, Amaterasu spoke. ' Hello there, little miss. Where have you run off from?' The wolf knew that the small pup probably shouldn't be wandering, and so wondered where her parents were - but, these were safe times, and so it wasn't so dangerous for her. He thought for a moment, then the gentle wolf tossed the rose to her; it landed with a soft plish in the water at her feet. The sun was fading; it had been such a beautiful day. Wild strawberries grew at the sides of the green marsh, and the long, golden stemms of the grass grew tall, and competed with the flowers for space. Overall, it was a beautiful scene. Amaterasu wished it could always be like this. But, there were always rainy days. Grinning, the wolf bowed his head again, and forgot he'd introduced himself. 'My name is Amaterasu.'

Sukie flinched as the rose landed near her feet 'Thank you' She cowered slightly when he asked about where she came from the pup just looked up at the sky remembering her mother 'My mother is in the sky' Her head looked up in to the sunset and the few clouds that lay in the sky on the beautiful night. The small fae leaped in to the strawberry bushes and began to eat the strawberries they were soft for her, Sukie was only three weeks old so she couldn't yet eat meet. Sukie looked at the brute which seemed a lot larger than her she kept a far distance away from him as she didn't trust many wolves without getting to know them first other than pups.
The small pup lay in the strawberries with the juice from the sweet tasting fruits round her muzzle which she couldn't reach to lick off with her tongue. Sukie stood and looked over the bushes as the brute introduced himself as Amaterasu, Sukie looked at the brute and replied in a high pitched voice 'Hello, my name is Sukie' The small pup didn't know what to do or how to survive she felt a little dehydrated so she leaned over the edge of the bank to try to take a drink but as she stretched so she could reach she fell in the cold water which shocked her as it was so cold and she couldn't swim her paws franticly splashed on the water and her head plunged underwater and came back up 'HELP!' In the sky? So young, thought Amaterasu sadly. He shook his head from side to side, very slowly; the poor pup. He was just about to ask if she had someone who looked after her, but then the splashing began. Calmly, the wolf hopped over to where the pup struggled, and leapt into the murky water. Ugh! Water was alright; but marsh water - it was stagnant, dark, and very deep. He deftly maneovered himself underwater to where Sukie was struggling. He was running out of air - his head was spinning, his eyes were closing - but no! The pup needed him. He closed his massive jaws round her neck, clamping lightly on them so she wouldn't fall away. Swimming upwards towards the light, he reached the surface and- They were out. Gasping for air, Amaterasu paddled over to the bank, gently let the pup down, and slumped over a log.

S [/b]ukie felt her tiny body spread over the log as the brute released her neck the pup flinched before letting out a small cough with a little murky water, Sukie stood slowly and shook her fur to rid it from the stagnate water, 'Sorry sir to bother you' Sukie lowered her head is shame but some in fear, the small fae still wet and scared of the brute which saved her life. Sukie looked up at the brute before slowly walking away and laying by the side of a large rock she felt comforted by the rock which lay by her it reminded her of her mother.[/blockquote][/size]

Crystal green auds stared down into the murky water of the large lake as Kishi walked quietly along side it. Why of all places had she ended up here? The one place that wasn't exactly plesent to be? the ground was sticky, the air was sicky, and it smelled bad. She didn't mind the smell as much, it was one of those things she could put up with, but as she walked her paws sunk into about an inch of sludge, and being a wolf that is used to solid ground, it wasn't nice.
Her ears picked up a high pitched squeal, one that sounded very much like a pup. She began to walk towards it, her pace picking up as she started to get nearer and nearer the point where the squeal had come from. As she got closer, her ears picked up another splash, a very loud splash, as if someone had fallen into, or jumped into the water. She started to run, what was going on?! Had someone fallen in?! What if they were drowning?! Now your just getting yourself into a panick... She told herself, but, if it was a pup, then it probably wouldn't be able to swim. Finally she could see a figure, dragging itself out of the water.
As she got closer, Kishi was able to see that it was a Brute. He had beautiful White fur, or it would have been white, if it wasn't covered in muddy water. "Are you Ok?" She said as she rushed over. It was then she notised the thing hanging from his jaws, it was a little pup. He had jumped in to save a little pup.
((Sorry its short, i had to rush))

Glancing up, Amaterasu flashed the pretty female a quite smile. And she was pretty - he cpuld see kindness and hope in her eyes. He nuzzled the pup once more, and looked back. 'I think so. She's very young - too young to be out alone, I think.' murmurred the white wolf worriedly. The sun was finally setting; it would be dark soon. Amaterasu bit his lip, frown lines set deep into his brows, and spoke quietly again. ' I'm...not from around here. I don't know which pack she belongs to.' He bowed his head, his eyes closed, as he thought over the situation. Chances were, her pack couldn't be far off. A three week old pup wouldn't last long by herself out here.

Her auds shifted from the pup, to watch the Brute, who was now speaking.
'I think so. She's very young - too young to be out alone, I think.' Kishi cocked her head to the side, if he was her father, wouldn't he know if she was too young to be out alone or not? 'I'm...not from around here. I don't know which pack she belongs to.' well, that explained alot. So she wasn't his, and he wasn't from around here. Kishi sat down, looking at the pup, trying to see anything that would trigger a memory to whether she had seen the small pup before. She couldn't be much older than 3 weeks old, way to young to be out alone. Nope, never seen her before, I'm Kishi by the way. She deliberatly left out the fact that she was the Alphess, incase he would all of a sudden decide to attack. She would be no match for the Brute, judging by his size, and she found that hansom Brutes were good fighters.
The Fae swiched her gaze to the sky, it was almost dark, the sun on its last legs of life for the day, almost given into to the unstopable moon, which was now visable in the deep red Sky. Her ears flattened onto her head as a sudden gush of wind whipped through the air, bringing alon a cold chill. This season was unpredictable, some nights could be warm, which in the Islands case, was most nights, but, other times, it could be freezing. She curled her tail around her paws, to stop them from getting cold, before looking up at the two wolves. They must be freezing! They had both just taken a long dip in the water, and were now sitting in the cold wind. "Shouldn't she be somewhere more sheltered?" She asked quietly. She knew, having pups herself, that young wolves did not last very long if left freezing. They needed warmth. The Brute probably would be Ok, because he was fully grown, and looked as though his thick fur would protect him, but the young Fae, no chance.

Sukie lay still she hated it when wolves worried about her; all she wanted was to find a home instead of every wolf worrying about her. Now two adult wolves was by her making her more and more nervous 'Sorry miss and sir don't worry I'll be fine' Sukie's high pitched voice flowed out of her throat. The tiny fae walked under the shelter of a large rock and the cover by the bush kept her body temperature ok, All Sukie thought about was her mother who was in the sky so she was told by most other wolves, but Sukie wanted to try to find her mother. She hated wolves making a fuss although she was young the pup didn't understand why the wolves was making such a fuss over something so little.
Sukie rested under the rock with the protection and cover from the bush her stomach a little hungry; Sukie's fur was damp and smelly like her fur was rotting the flesh on her body her nose didn't enjoy the scent of the water. Her nose twitched so did her small ears as the whistling of the wind breezed past her making her body shiver slightly. Sukie rested her head upon her paws, her blue eyes looking at her surroundings and her nose taking in the dust off of the floor below. Sukie lifted her head to see the two wolves talking, Sukie sighed and placed her head upon her paws once more and watched the the sun lowered it's self in beyond the sight of the wolves.

Frowning, Amaterasu nodded at the female's words. She was right; but where could he take her? The marsh was beautiful, but not sheltered. And suddenly, he knew. 'I know of a place, near here; It's sheltered, and I can wait there with her until first light. Then, I'll take her to her pack. Uh - you can come, if you want, but if it's an inconveniance...' Amaterasu trailed off. He wasn't uncomfortable; just unsure. He looked concernedly at the pup once more, then at the adult female beside him. She was sensible, and the more he thought about it, the more he realised he wanted her to come with them. But, if she said no, he'd try his best to forget about it. Closing his eyes for a moment to enjoy the last of the dying sun, Terasuu wondered what was to become of the three of them.
[so short, I'm sorry DX]

'Sorry miss and sir don't worry I'll be fine' the Fae sent a warm smile to the pup, telling her it was Ok, and she had nothing to be sorry about. She had many doubts about her being fine if left alone. The world was a cruel place for a defenceless pup to be wandering about unprotected, especially at night. Who knows what was wondering out there? Kishi was not going to let her wonder of by herself.
'I know of a place, near here; It's sheltered, and I can wait there with her until first light. Then, I'll take her to her pack. Uh - you can come, if you want, but if it's an inconveniance...' Kishi watched the male, her gaze flickering towards the pup during his words. If her knew of a place, then it would be safer to go along, even if she didn't know whether it was safe or not, then staying alone in the middle of no where. The femme grinned as the young wolf settled herself into a possition, her head resting on her front paws. She looked ever so sweet, in a classic cute puppie stance. "Its Ok, i'll come, if its Ok with you?" She said, lifting her head to look at the Brute. She took in his gorgeous eyes, over everything else. He was a hansom Brute, but his eyes stood out more than anything . . .

Sukie knew the two large wolves was talking about moving her, but she just wanted to be left alone she had just lost her mother and nearly lost her life; now two wolves was taking her everywhere. Sukie stood looking at the wolves before letting out a yawn and stretching out her tiny body. The darkness fell and Sukie looked up at the wolves 'I'm going now cya' Her squeaky voice said before she ran off in to the darkness looking for shelter, her body began to shake slightly as the cold breeze came a shock to her think fur although she carried on walked before she found a large bush which she lay under and slowly fell in to a peaceful sleep.

'I'm going to go now. See you.' The pup ran off, at a suprisingly fast pace, before Kishi had had chance to say anything. She considered running after her, but the pup had managed to reach the trees, and she was so small that they had no chance of finding her. However, they could not just leave her by herself. She would die! "We need to find her. She can't be left alone out here!" She said urgently, beginning to walk towards the trees. The pups scent was still in the air, they could follow that, but ti would be tricky.
Suddenly, another scent filled the air. It was strange, definatly not belonging to a wolf. Kishi wasn't sure what it belonged to. After a moment, barks filled the air. The Faes ears perked up, swiveling round to pin point the sound. But it seemed to be coming from everywhere. Kishi froze. The scent was getting thicker, stronger, closer. She looked at the Brute, eyes wide. Were they about to be attacked? Sure, she could defend herself, but the little pup could not be faraway, and their was no chance that she would be able to fight. The barks got louder, they were getting closer, and closer, and closer ...

Lifting his proud head, Amaterasu's eyes darkened, and narrowed dangerously. He, too, could smell the scent of a pack of renegades; but what could they do? No. They must fight. The pup would be asleep, and the river had most likely washed away her tell-tale scent. So only Kishi could be smellt...interesting. He could... 'Do you trust me?..Just...trust me right now. I won't leave you.' whispered Amaterasu, and he flashed her a warning look with his golden eyes. Then, he turned and padded silently into the foliage at the side of the river. The wolves would be here any second now; they were padding closer, and he could hear them. Kishi...Sukie...he worried about them both. But, this way, he could save them.
