It was cold despite the fact that the sun was out and one wolf was wandering alone. Her black coat shone and it was wet making the fae even colder. Her pads were scratched and her legs were sore but she would not stop. She was feeling very alone and desperately wanted someone to talk to. She looked up to the sky and let out a sweet note, calling to any wolf out there that was also alone. She stood still and her ears perked up listening carefully for any response. Not long after she realised that no response was ever going to come and her ears went down.
She kept walking and little time passed. Her tail was straight down behind her and her ears were flat against her head. An icy wind blew and she shivered in the cold. It was always cold here and she wondered why she had come here and not somewhere else. Her red orbs looked around her and she watched a butterfly fly passed her and disappear. She sighed and wished she could fly away from this place like that butterfly.
She cleared the thought from her mind and kept walking. She felt as though her legs were going to freeze and then drop off. She finally saw a nice dry spot underneath a large oak tree and padded over to it. She lay down below it and closed her eyes. The black fae was so cold that sleep would not overcome her but at least her legs were no longer sore.

Trudging through thick snow, paws almsot frozen solid, was not what Niyah had in mind when she though to herself she wanted to escape from the noise of large groups. Sure she had wanted somewhere quiet, but this was going a little over the top. Why an earth had she been bought here? Were her legs realy that tired of being overworkd that they had decided to let her feeze to death? She had not intended in ending up here, but still, she had. The Fae had only been here once before, but that time had been different. The wind had been howling terrbily, bringing a realy cold air with it. If the wind had not been around, then it wouldn't have been as bad. That was also her first meeting with Zentha. The actual legend, Zentha. The bloodthirsty wolf that everyone knows about. At first, she had thought it was just a myth, a story, but it wasn't, he was real. Of course, she had not known who he was then, all she had known, was that a big, scary Brute was stood infront of her, talking. Thinking back to all of her meeting with him, he hadn't seemed nasty, and bloodthristy at all, he had seemed quiet the opposit.
Niyah stopped as a long howl drifted through the falling snow. The wolf sounded near, slightly nearer than Niyah wanted. But did she want to be alone? It realy was quiet lonely out here without company, so perhaps it would be a good idea to find someone to talk to. Afterall, loners were vulnerable to Rogues out here, and strength in numbers. Should she howl back, or not? It took Niayh quite a while to work out whether to or not. After a long time of thinking, she lifted her head to the snowy sky, and let out a long, eerie note.

The whole place was quiet and just as one certain fae was about to give up on finding someone to talk to a single note pierced the skies. She looked up and listened to where the sound had come from. She then got up and ran towards the source. Her hearing was better than her sight and she could hear the she-wolf before she saw her.
When she did stumble upon the fae she smiled. "Hello. I heard your call. My name is Yetchi, and you would be?" she asked politely not wanting to scare the she-wolf off. She looked at the wolf and thought she was quite beautiful but she also looked tired and warn out. Exactly how Yetchi was feeling.

Niyah saw the Fae before she heard her, with her hearing not being as good as her sight. IT wasn't untill she had notised the wolf walking, or running towards her that she heard her paws placing upon the ground, crunching in the snow. She sat down, forgetting that the ground was covered in white, wet stuff, but soon stood back up again, her rear end now freezing. Niyah winced, before grinning at herself.
She padded towards where the other Fae was coming, her head low to show she was no threat. 'Hello. I heard your call. I am Yetchi, and you might be?' Niyah smiled, trying to show that she was a friend, not a Foe. The cold did strange things to wolves, making them edgey, and jumping to conclusions alot, just as she had done in her meeting with Zentha. "I am Niyah, nice to meet you." She said with a grin. It was nice to talk to someone again, after so long in silence, and the last person to communicate with supposedly being a mass murderer. Niyah was about to sit down again, but, remembering how cold the ground was, decided to stay standing, as much as it ached her legs.

"I'm Niyah, nice to meet you." Her voice was sweet and she grinned. Yetchi grinned back. She was glad to finally find someone to talk to and she hadn't spoken to another wolf in a long while. "It's nice to meet you too," she said to the fae. For some reason she didn't trust this wolf just yet but she thought that it was just because of the cold. She was also tired. She saw that the other wolf stayed standing and she felt the same. She didn't want her backside to get wet and cold so, she too, remained standing.
Suddenly, she had an idea. She remembered where she had just been and how the tree had protected the ground from the snow. "Why don't we go somewhere where we can sit down?" She asked but without waiting for her reply she turned and walked back the way she had come. She called over her shoulder, "follow me," and her grin widened.

Life alone had been harder than she had expected. Niyah seriously hated being alone, but what could be done about it? Nothing. One day she would find that one wolf whom she wished to stay with forever. They would come along, and she would never have to be alone again. But had she already found him? Whenever she thought about this, which wasn't actualy very foten, suprisingly, one name popped into her mind. Zentha. She was annoyed that he had ran away from her when they had first met, and couldn't figure out why. What had she done wrong to scare him away? If anything, it was her that should've been scared, not him. He had been chasing her down when she had tried to escape. But had she been trying to escape? Part of her told her that she hadn't been, she had been playing with him, wanting to get to know him.
Now she wasn't alone. she had this Fae to chat with, assuming she would want to sit and talk. 'Why don't we go somewhere where we can sit down?' That had been just what she had been thinking, it was as though this Fae could read her mind. But then she realised she was walking away, towards a large tree. The only tree surrounding them. Niyah trotted behind, her paws crunching in the snow as they met the ground. She stumbled once, being quiet small, but was quick to right herself, hoping the Fae hadn't notised. Then he popped into her mind again. Zentha. Why the hell did she keep thinking about him?! He wasn't anything to her! She had to clear her thought, stop herself getting angry. Or should she? perhaps she should learn more about this Brute that seemed to posses her. Should she ask this new Fae what she knew? Or would that just make her seem strange, asking about a supposed myth?
( Sorry the reply is late )

Yetchi smiled to herself as she noticed the fae smile. She also noticed that Niyah still had something else on her mind. She dearly hoped that the fae hadn't figured out who she really was. She looked Niyah over and noticed she was quite small, or at least smaller than herself. "You seem to have something on your mind. Would you like to share," she asked her questioningly. She was glad to finally be able to use her voice but she hadn't heard it in a while. She liked to stay away from other wolves from time to time because there was always the occasional wolf that would figure out her identity. She also hoped that for Niyah's sake she didn't find out either. She somehow like this wolf and didn't want her too meet the same fate as the others. She shook her head to clear the thought and looked back at the fae, her ears perked up, waiting for her reply.
((That's fine))

Tilting her head to the side, Niyah sat down under the tree that was sheltering the ground from the continuous falling snow. It wasn't warmer here, but a tleast her hind would not get soaked. She shivered slightly, pulling her legs tighter to her body in a failing attempt to make herself warmer. Yetchi didn't seem to be bothered about the cold, and Niyah wished that it did not disturb her either.
'You seem to have something on your mind. Would you like to share?' She hadn't expected her to ask about this, and didn't particularly want to say anything about it either. But perhaps it would do good to confide in someone, or at least get to know a little bit more about the so called myth, that wolves called Zentha. She argued with herself for a minute or two about whether to say anything or not. Of course she wasn't going to tell her the real reason she was asking, she didn't trust the Fae enough to do that, but would it hurt to just ask? The only wolf she could think of that she trusted enough, maybe, was Chii. She hadn't seen the Fae for a while, since her last metting with the Brute, she and Chii had been chatting, and he had turned up. He had wanted to tell her something, or ask her something, but apparently couldn't do that with Chii there, he had dissapeared after that.
Niyah came to a conclusion, it wouldn't hurt to ask, and she could easily come up with an exuse if Yetchi got suspisious. "Yetchi ... what do you know about the legend of Zentha? ... and the other decendant stories?" She added the last bit on the end, just to make it a little less strange, make it sound as though she was just interested in the stories.

Yetchi watched the other fae shiver and she wondered why she herself didn't feel the cold very much. She hadn't realised it was that cold until now but she still couldn't feel it.
"what do you know about the legend of Zentha? ... and the other decendant stories?" Yetchi stood up at this but soon corrected herself and sat back down. How had she figured it out? She couldn't have possibly known anything about her being a descendant, and an exousia descendant for that matter. She looked up at the fae and realised that maybe she didn't know about her being a descendant. She sighed and shook her head. "Not much but I do know that he's been seen around the island. And if you think I'm crazy, you're mistaken. He's not a myth, he's real. As for descendants, some say they're evil but I don't think so. Have you ever met one?" she slipped the question in but said it sarcasticaly. The way she talked about Zentha being real mad her sound crazy but she knew she wasn't. She looked up at Niyah and smiled a cold, dark smile wondering about what the fae would answer.

Cocking her head to the side slightly as Yetchi stood up suddenly, Niyah was taken by suprise. She hadn't expected the Fae to stand up quite so quickly, and it seemed the question startled her slightly. However, Yetchi was quick to sit down, and Niyah shook her head just a bit, trying to dismiss it as just her imagening things, afterall, it was freezing cold.
'Not much but I do know that he's been seen around the island. And if you think I'm crazy, you're mistaken. He's not a myth, he's real. As for descendants, some say they're evil but I don't think so. Have you ever met one?' She may have said she didn't know much, be she seemed to know more than others, whenever Niyah had mentioned it to other wolves, they had just called her crazy, and launched into the whole 'its just a legend to scare pups' story. She sat for a moment, thinking about what to say. She knew for a fact that Yetchi wasn't crazy, and that Zentha was real, or at least she thinks he is. That Brute she met a while ago could possibly have just told her his name was Zentha. Or then again, it could have been the real wolf, the one that is supposidle blood thirsty, and out for revenge, like the stories told.
He didn't look very bloodthirsty to me, or out for revenge... She thought to herself, before switching her gaze to Yetchi. "I don't think your crazy." She said plainly. "I think he's real too." She said, with a little too much confidence. Niyah imedietly scolded herself, the last thing she wanted was for wolves to click that she had seen him, talked to him, become fond of him. That would just lead to big trouble.
[sorry for the long wait]

Looking up at the sky Yetchi realised that most wolves would have thought Niyah crazy for asking that question and she sighed at her vital mistake. She looked at the fae but she didn't seem to be suspicious about anything. She smiled as Niyah told her she didn't think she was crazy. That was good, because she wasn't. She knew all about Zentha and descendants. Especially descendants. Apparantly vampire wolves didn't like their blood which was a good thing.
She had already been attacked twice and survived and she was glad about that one perk of being a descendant. Unfortunately there weren't many other perks about it. She thought about what Niyah would say if she mentioned her blood and she smiled. Truly, there was nothing to lose. She could definitely kill the fae if she became mad.
"I think he's real too." So she believed in him too. "Have you ever met Zentha or a descendant before?" she asked casually. Without waiting for a reply she stood up and smiled very cunningly. "Sorry. What I meant to say was, have you ever met Zentha before because I know you've met a descendant? Don't know who I'm talking about? She's standing right in front of you," the grin widened on her face as she sad this and she wondered what the fae's reaction would be.

The snow was now falling thick around them, but Niyah ignored it. She was focused on Yetchi. The Fae infront of her was quite fascinating. She gave off the feeling that she had something important that she was hiding, something that was trying to burst out of her, like she wanted to tell others, but was restraining the need.
'so, have you ever met Zentha or a decendent before?' It was the question she didn't want to be asked. If she went around telling people that she had met Zentha, she could well get herself killed. For some reason, the entire island had something against him and all that had supposedly had contact with him who hadn't faught against him. It was styupid, in Niyah opinion.
She was about to get defensive, and tell her that it was none of her buisness whether she hasd met him or not, when Yetchi spoke again.
'Sorry. What I meant to say was, have you ever met Zentha before because I know you've met a descendant? Don't know who I'm talking about? She's standing right in front of you.' Niyah imedtiatly took a step back. she may not know much about the decendents, but one thing every wolf who lives here knew they were dangerous. "Your a decendant?!" she said, startled. Niyah took a little step back again, watching Yetchi cautiously. she wracked through her brain. Yetchi. Yetchi. Nope, nothing about any decendant called Yetchi. "If your a decndent, then why haven't you killed me ... yet?" she said, standing in a defensive way in case she decided to attack.
But a whole load of thoughts wizzed through her brain. had she gone too far? What if decendents weren't at all like they were said to be? Not out to kill everyone. Afterall, Zentha was suppost to be as bloodthristy as a Vampire, and he had prooven he wasn't. So why not the decendents too? She watched Yetchi cautiously, awaiting her reply.

Yetchi straightened as the fae took a step back. She was obviously scared. It was the complete opposite reaction of what Yetchi was hoping for. She shook her head and lowered her tail to show Niyah was in charge. She then took a step back so that she knew she wouldn't be harmed.
"If your a decndent, then why haven't you killed me ... yet?" Killing? Who mentioned anything about killing? Why would Yetchi want to kill anyone? Although she had wanted to kill that vampire wolf who had attacked Jewel and Eipha. She watched Niyah carefully and wondered what she was thinking. "I don't want to hurt you," she said with a slight growl in her voice. "Who would ever think that?"
Her thoughts went back to all the rumours she had been hearing lately. They had been about how descendants were evil and just wanted to kill everyone and take over all four packs. She might want to be an alphess of just one of the packs but she certainly didn't want to kill anyone over it. She looked at Niyah and shook her head before turning to slowly walk away. Again she wasn't wanted, and she never will be.

Her words seemed to have offended the decendent, and a look of hurt was placed in her eyes. Niyah immediatly knew that she had jumped to conclusions, deciding to listen to what the rumours say. Stupid thing to do realy.
'I don't want to hurt you. Who would ever think that?' The Fae just sat there, unsure of what to say. Unsure of whether she could trust Yetchi or not. She hadn't looked as though she had any intensions on fighting, and if she did attack, Niyah could defend herself well.
When Yetchi shook her head and began to walk away, Niyah felt guilty. She had definatly hurt her feelings, believing what the rumours said, and so decided to go and say sorry. After all, she wasn't the sort of wolf to judge another wolf as bad untill they had proved themselves bad. She stood up, and trotted quickly to catch up with the decendent. "Hey, hey, i didn't mean to offend you, i'm sorry if i did. I was just going by what other wolves had said." She said, stood a little way behind Yetchi, her paws now soaked because of the snow.
It didn't take long for her to start shivering again, but she ignored it, waiting for the Fae to answer, or just continue walking away. The snow was falling realy thick, easy enough to get lost in if wandering alone around here. It reminded her of when she first met Zentha, but she quickly whiped that memory aside, trying to consentrate.

Yetchi held her head high and walked. Her paws were wet from the snow and her paw pads were almost frozen. She wondered what she would do next but she felt the eyes of the other fae on her back. She heard her pawsteps and whipped around to face her.
"Hey, hey, i didn't mean to offend you, i'm sorry if i did. I was just going by what other wolves had said." Oh. So she didn't think that herself. Well, in a way, she was stupid. And so was Yetchi. She had given herself away in a moment of weakness and it was a stupid thing to do. She shook her head as she thought of this. All these years she had tried so hard to hide away and stay alone and in less than a sun she had told everything. Obviously there was some part of her that trusted Niyah.
"It's okay, really. Everyone always makes that assumption. I'm used to it," she said, looking down at the ground. It was a tiny lie seeing as she wasn't used to it because she had never told anyone before. And no one had ever guessed it before, except for the vampire wolf.
