Padding along through the sand, leaving faint paw prints behind. The tired Fae walked along the beach, her eyelids beginning to fall. It was unbelievable how tired she was, she had been sleeping fine, apart from the odd destirbance with the pups, but still, she couldn't work out why she was this sleepy. Blinking rapidly to keep herself awake, Kishi waded into the cold shallows of the incoming Sea. The tide was coming in, making it slightly deeper than the alphess had expected. She padded in a bit deeper, letting the water rach the tip of her belly. It was quite refreshing, exluding the fact that it was salty, and tasted foul when it got in her mouth.
She looked down through the clear water at her paws, watching the small fish that were gliding around them, teasing her. She watched them for a moment, before splashing unexpectedly, trying to place her paw upon one of them, but they were too fast, slipping away easily. Kishi padded on slowly, trying to walk through the liquid as calmly as she could, trying not to make to much splashes. It didn't take long for the fish to appear again, performing the same dance inbetween her legs. She had another go at catching one, pouncing suddenly like a cat, and managing to place a paw upon the largest of them all. She watched it wriggle for a minute or two, before releasing her grip, and letting it swim away to join the others. She would've eaten it, but fish wasn't her favourite of foods, and with such good options in prey at the moment, she didn't feel pushed at finding food for the family.
As she walked, Kishi thought about the upcoming week. It was about time the pups went on their first hunting trip, and that was something to look forward to, even if their father would not be there to see it. They were getting slightly too adventurous for her liking, constantly scaring her by wandering to far from the pack dens, but now that their were more members to keep a watch on them, she wasn't too worried.
Suddenly, the Alphess came to a hault. She lifted her ebony nose into the salty air, she was sure she had just caught a scent, although nothing was there now. She flicked her auds around the area, trying to spot any movements that would give a wolf away from its hiding place, but their was nothing there. Dismissing it as her sence of smell playing up, as it wouldn't be the first time, Kishi carried on walking. It didn't take long for her to stop again. She had defiantly caught something then. Realsing that she was belly deep in rising water, putting her in a vulnerable state, she padded away from the depths, shaking herself free of the droplets that clung to her multy coloured fur.
Kishi stood in the shallowest of shallows, the water only just reaching the top of her paw. She scanned her surrounding searching for any intruders. Their was defiantly a scent lingering in the area now, one that didn't belong to the Xyla. Was their another pack in the area, or was it Zentha again? She automaticaly tensed, preparing to defend herself incase of attack. Then she caught something out of the corner of her eye. Within the bushes, something moved. Something large was shifting within the shadows. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness of the night, but she still couldn't tell what it was. All of a sudden, she felt nervous, realising how alone she was out here. No one around to help incase of a fight.
(( wow, my muse is on a role xD ))

Dakota's first breath on the island was quickly banished by a wolf in the distance, Dakota stood in the bushes not wanting to cause a fight without no protection, He could tell it must have been the alpha of the lands but he didn't know if an alpha male was near by so he kept his distance, He couldn't help be feel he knew the fae which padded in the depths of the water, who then came in to the shallows the faes scent seemed familiar but Dakota couldn't pin point the smell. Dakota slowly came out of the bushes and stopped away from the fae.
Dakota lowered his head in a slight submissive way to show he wasn't going to cause no trouble, when a name hit him from his past when he used to play with two pups as he was a pup born with no litter mates 'Kishi?' he said hoping it was the right wolf, He took another look and knew it must be her, Dakota smiled 'Remember me? as we was pups?' But Dakota still had feelings for when him and Kishi was together before Dakota got captured and taken away on another island. Dakota hoped Kishi remembered him but he could tell she had pups so he automatically assumed she had a alpha Dakota stood waiting to see what the fae would say.

The sound of paws padding on sand came from behind her. Kishi turned around, her own paws splashing in the salty waters. A wolf was walking slowly towards her, his head low to show he was no threat. She watched him get closer, and then stop a little way from herself.
'Kishi? Remembers me? When we was pups?' She squinted into the darkness, her eyesight failing her through the night. She could see a Brute, although could not see his actual features. The Fae breathed in, taking in a new scent, but which was slightly familiar, as if it rang a bell from her past. The Alphess took a step forward, trying to see this new wolf. Then she had proper visual on him, but could it be? The same wolf whom she had played with as a pup, and had a relationship with before he had been taken away. Surely not, he was dead, the humans had killed him, taken him out to sea, and he had never returned. Or so she thought. "Dakota? Is that you?" A broad grin placed itself on her maw as her suspicians were confirmed. IT WAS the pup who she had been such good friends with, the wolf who she had loved as a young Fae.
Kishi stood, glued to the spot in happiness, and shock. Was it realy him, the very wolf who she had thought dead for the past two years? How was this possible? The Fae took another two steps forward, circling him, trying to see if it defiantly was that same wolf. "Dakota!" She said loudly, grinning and almost laughing with joy. She leapt forward, giving him friendly licks to his neck, before realising what she was doing, and taking a step back, embarressed.
She had been such good friends with this wolf. They had played all day long, with another pup aswell, but who she could not remember properly. Dakota had been an only child, so had no doubt loved the fact that he had friends to play with in place of siblings. He too had been a Skyla wolf, and she remembered very well that him and Kaija had not got on very well. The two had also shared something more than friendship for a while, but then the Brute had been taken away. Captured by men, put onto a big metal thing that floated on water, and then taken out to Sea. Kishi had always asumed that he had been killed, and she would never see him again. So she had left the Skyla. Moved on to start her own family, and in time, taken over the Xyla. Become and Alphess.
(( I made it so that it would fit in with Kishis past, so dakota too used to be a Skyla wolf. You can change that if you wish though ))

Dakota returned the fae's licks, all the happy memories came flooding back 'Kishi!' the brute also in shock. He noticed Kishi must of had pups Dakota thought she had an alpha 'Where is the alpha?' Dakota playfully mock bit Kishi's fur something he hadn't done in a while, Dakota smiled but knew Kishi would have an alpha male by her side although Dakota never moved on from Kishi he never stopped liking her but he thought she would have died, but she survived and was standing in front of him.
Dakota walked round Kishi and licked her muzzle affectionately 'Is it really you?' Dakota still in shock, his memories flooded back at the fun times but also the sad when they got snatched apart, Dakota knew Kishi would have moved on and nearly forgot about him, but Dakota couldn't forget Kishi and he came to the island just to find her, being a skyla past pup he wondered in any skyla members was alive and how Kaija was 'Hows Kaija?' Dakota was full of questions all the moments he missed but he knew he couldn't come back in to kishi's life so easily as she seemed like she moved on.
Dakota sat looking at Kishi, the love struck brute couldn't believe he found her and the fact she was standing in front of him remembering him.

The Fae stood next to the Brute, watching him closely. How was this possible, that the very wolf she had beleaved dead since before she had left the Skyla, was now stood infront of her, very much alive?
'Kishi!' The Alphess laughed lightly, before nudging him with her body.
'Where is the alpha?' Her smile slowly faded as these words camer to meet her. She had finally begun to forget about all the past events involving alphas, and now his words had baught them back. Kishi shifted her paws, and looked down at the water, her reflection glaring up at her. How was she going to out this? The Alpha died? No, that sounded horrible, and would only sadden her. He left? That just made it sound as though he had abandonded them , which he had, kindof, but it wasn't his fault. She settled on a short, truthful sentence. "The Alpha isn't with us anymore, its just me." Yeah, that sounded Ok, truthful, but not diving into anything too deep. She raised her head back up to look at him, returning his lick to the neck, and nipping his fur playfully.
'Hows Kaija?' This put the grin back on her face. She couldn't see any reason why he was asking about her brother. The two used to spend all their days glaring at each other, argueing, and sometimes even fighting. She remembered one time, when they got into a scrap, and it had ended up in some big fight. Kaija had been absolutely battered by her father for it, and Dakota had no doubt been punished by his own parents, but he had still sent nasty looks at Kaija whenever he could, which made Kishi happy. Although he was her brother, she couldn't stick him. He had always got the attention, the first share of food, ect ect. 2still living. He is Alpha of the Skyla now, after getting into a fight with the old leader, and winning it. I beleive he is also now a father of his mates pups? I think so anyway, last i heard." She said, wtaching Dakota closely, to see his reaction.
But she had had enough of answering all of his question, she was the one that was suppost to be doing the questioning, not him, afterall, he had dissapeared off the face of the Island over a year ago, without any sitings. "Any way, where have you been for the past year? You dissapeared without a trace!" She asked, backing away to sit on the dry sand. True, she had been devostated when he had vanished, and assumed he had been killed. It was a mirachle that he was here now, with her.

Dakota looked shocked when Kishi said Kaija had got himself a pack, mate and pups 'Kaija really? wow' Dakota shocked at what the fae said although the words before made Dakota feel bad he thought he had upset Kishi, but when Kishi asked her last question Dakota lowered his head 'I got captured, taken to a island for a breeding programme when the humans trashed it I came here after I got lost' Dakota looked at the fae, before turning around he wanted to see if Kaija remembered him.
'I have to go I am going to see Kaija' but he realized the Kaija wouldn't welcome him, but he heard a sudden small bark and saw a little pup appear 'You pups?' Dakota walked up to the pup and used his nose to rub the pups head before playfully mock biting Kishi.

Kishi had to stop herself from laughing at the shock on his face as she told him about Kaijas updated life. She in herself knew from her early life that he would end up doing well for himself, he alwasy had, even since he was a pup. He had always got the best of things, most of the attention, control over some of his friends, so on. But perhaps Dakota didn't. 'Kaija, realy? Wow.' She smiled at his susprised sounding words.
He lowered his head as he answered her question, and Kishi began to worry. She hadn't wanted to sadden him, to bring back bad memories, she had only wanted to know where he had been for that whole year or so she had missed him so much. 'I got captured, taken to a island for a breeding programme when the humans trashed it I came here after I got lost' Kishi licked his neck in a reasuring way. "You can put that behind you now, start your life again. Theres no humans here to disturb you, us." She said softly.
'I have to go I am going to see Kaija' Go to see Kaija? Why would he want to do that? Her brother had given him enough trouble when he was a skyla pup, but now, after he had beleived Dakota dead, why an earth would Dakota want to go visit someone who had caused trouble in his youth? But casting all this aside, she didn't want him to leave so soon. She had only just found him again, after so long of being apart, why did he have to leave so suddenly?!
A high pitched squeek behind her made Kishi turn around. It was one of her pups, the youngest of them all. The young Brute was beginning to look more and more like his father, Kione, whilst the others were almost spitting images of her late mate, Karn. As much as she didn't want the pup to look like that Brute, Kione, it couldn't be helped, and she loved it anyway. even though seeing it sometimes bought back nasty memories, it wasn't the pups fault. 'your pup?" She watched as he padded towards the baby wolf, and nuzzled its head gently. "Yeah, theres three of them." She told him. Usually, when wolves she had only just met went near her pups, she flinched, and threatened them, but this was different. She didn't feel as if she needed to worry, she had known him since she was a pup herself, she trusted him with her life, even if their had been a two year gap in the relationship.
She returned his mock bite with a affectionate lick to the neck. "why are you goig to see Kaija?" [/size]

Dakota looked at the fae as she announced she had three pups, He looked around at how well she had done for herself 'I don't belong here, you have your pack that's why I wanted to go well bother Kaija spook him out a little' Dakota felt the lick to his neck, Dakota smiled and returned the affectionate lick. Dakota looked down at the pup before carefully nudging it, Dakota loved pups and began playing with the pup when her heard a sudden bang with a puff of smoke coming from an island his ears on edge like satellites to pin point the sound.
Dakota was on alert for anything but after a few moments passed all was quite again 'What was that?' Dakota looked at the fae hoping she would know some answers but he wondered where was the rest of her pups, before he had chance to ask two more pups came out, but they looked rather different from the other one who came out first, Dakota was slightly confused but never the less he smiled and nudged all three before lying down and letting them pounce on him, Dakota began to laugh as the three pups climbed and jumped all over him with the occasional nip and tug at his tail.
Dakota stood slowly allowing the pups to slide off of him before he jumped on Kishi he lay back down at the pups played tug of war with his tail and fur, Dakota laughed and remembered the fun times from when they was pups and Kaija being a spoil sport, but Dakota wanted to see Kaija to see his pups and what he had but his thoughts slowly drifted from his mind as the pups climbed all over him, a large smiled appeared on his muzzle it was slightly mischievios 'Kishi, would you come with me to see Kaija?, like the old days when we got in to danger' Dakota lay while the pups playfully attacked him waiting for her answer.

'I don't belong here, you have your pack that's why I wanted to go well bother Kaija spook him out a little' The Fae cocked her heads to the side, she realy wasn't understanding. If he felt he didn't belong here, then why had he come in the first place, not that she wasn't happy to see him, she was overjoyed, but still, it struck her as strange. Bothering Kaija, was he mad?! Of course, he probably didn't know about the attitude the skyla pack had gained over other wolves, the bloodthirsty name they were suppost to live up to. She knew that some of them weren't as nasty as wolves said, but she hadn't met them all, for all she knew, their could be ones out their, members of that pack, that were bloodthirsty, looking to kill anyone that dared venture into their lands.
She watched him play with her pup, only to stop when a loud bang came out of no where. She spun round in alarm to see what was going on, only to see a large puff of black smoke rising from one of the surrounding Islands that were now in view. the noise startled the pup, who skidded to a hault, and hid next to Dakotas stomach. Kishi stared at the Island, what had that noise been, and what was with the smoke? 'What was that?' Her attention fixed back on Dakota when he spoke, after everything had gonhe quiet again. "no idea, its been happnening alot lately though, scares them half to death." She said gently, motioning at the pup. She gazed at Dakota, who looked as though he was going to speak, when two more pups came running out of the grass, and onto the beach, yelping as they ran. Clearly the noises had scared them from their playing.
The three pups calmed down, and took to pla pouncing on Dakota, who didn't seem to mind. She watched them for a bit, before refocusing on the Brute. 'Kishi, would you come with me to see Kaija?, like the old days when we got in to danger' She thought about this. To be honest, she didn't want to go near the Skyla, and would feel bad getting in their way, after they had practicaly saved her life during the battle with Zentha. If Kaija and Senna hadn't of turned up, she would be dead now. Her auds now concentrating on her three pups, she pondered on what to do. Why did he want to go and visit Kaija anyway? Had being with the humans gotten to his head? It was bad enough when Kaija was still a pup, but now that he was fully grown, AND a father, he could be very dangerous to get on the wrong side of. Going would not be a good idea. What would she do with the pups? She couldn't possibly take them with her, it would be way to dangerous. But, it seemed as though Dakota was going to go, no matter what she said, and she couldn't let him go on his own, she had only just got her best friend back, and didn't want to loose him again. "Do we have to? He's a dangerous wolf to cross, and the Skyla aren't exactly friendly, can't we just stay here, and catch up on things?" She asked, sort of pleadingly. Surely he wasn't mad enough to go by himself? That would be practicaly suiside, especially as dakota and Kaija were almost like enimies from their early life.
