The woods were dark, and slightly creepy, with a dangerous feeling about them. But that wasn't what bothered Red, the dark didn't bother her at all, if anything, these woods felt alot like home. The more she grew, the more her liking for dark, quiet places emerged. Since her adopted mother had disapeared, Red had found herself searching for somewhere that felt welcoming to her, somewhere like this.
She strained her tired eyes around the scene, taking in tall, leafless trees, and the dark clouded skies.
She padded, wobbling slightly, over to the roots of a rather large tree, and flopped down in a comfortable position. God she was tired. Two days walking was way to much for a mere pup, she needed rest if she was ever going to get to where she was heading. Where am i heading? She thought to herself, her eyelids dragging down, begging for sleep. Come to think of it, she wasn't heading anywhere, she was just wandering around, searching for a place to call home. Perhaps find a pack that could look after her properly? Like pups with normal lives are? If it wasn't for her pathetic exuse for a mother, then she would have a normal life, like all of the other pups around. Oh well, she was incharge now, she was going to try and straighten her life out for good.
Red slowly began to give in to sleep, resting her head against a large root, and yawning loudly. The pup would rest here for a bit, gain back the energy she had lost whilst walking.
