What was it about this place that drew her towards it? Was it the fact that it was probably the most dangerous place to be at the moment? Or perhaps the sheer beauty of the place? Niyah didn't know, but hey, she was here now, no point in pondering on something never to be answered. The sound of fresh grass being flattened by heavy paws was all she could hear at the moment. Sure, she was doing her best to listen out for the deer that were suppost to call this place home, but so far, no luck.
She was nervous, of course she was! Who wouldn't be? these were Skyla lands after all. They were a fully fledged pack now. they had an Alpha, and Alphess, members, plus a new litter of pups the last she had heard. But that wasn't the only reason she was nervous. This new rumour, about the two legged creatures. It sent shivers down her spine. The very thought of them being here, on the Island she had lived on for most of her life now, the one place she had felt safe. But no more. no where was safe. there would always be threats, wherever you hide. Survival would always be tough.
She padded through the long grass, finally giving up on her failing hunt, and flopping down under the shade of a tree. Summer had finally hit them, and it was a hot one too. The sun blazed down almost all day. Her tongue lolled out of the side of her mouth as she started to pant. The heat realy didn't do well for her. She thought about the lands she had been in a while ago. They had been freezing cold, and snow had completely covered the ground. But she couldn't think about that. It would just bring back unwanted memories. Or at least, she thought they were unwanted. Niyah hadn't seen the Brute for a while now, and the rumours of his where abouts had died down, with the new, more pressing threats.
The Fae rested her head down onto her front paws, allowing herself to close her eyes for a couple of minutes. She had to be on her guard. Bumping into one of the pack members was the last think she wanted at the moment. She wasn't in the mood to argue, and she certainly wasn't going to be able to fight in this heat. No chance. Niyah eyed the dark forests across the field. They looked quite creepy actualy. That was one place she definitly wasn't going to venture into, even if it did mean shade.
Her eyelids began to drag down, and she was getting sleepier and sleepier by the minute. Not a good idea. She was suppost to be looking out for danger. Just lieing here to rest for a couple of minutes, not actualy fall asleep. Her head lolled slightly, the heat was too much. The Faes eyes closed completely as she fell into unconsiousness.

Summer. The one season that the alpha seemed to loathe. Her coat was a dark shade, attracting the sun's rays and making it unbearably warm. On this particular day though, the het was the last thing on her mind. Today, she was on a hunt. Not your average, wolf hunt. No, this hunt was.. to say the least, different. Lately she hadn't been doing these 'special' hunts because of her attention-hungry pups, but her pups were most likely ramping around the den with there father. She had alittle spare time before they'd want to feed again, so she figured doing a little patrol and some food would be alright. The ebon fea layed silently in the tall, lush grasses of the meadow, patiently waiting for her next victim to appear. Then, a fairly large doe strolled carelessly out into her vision, grazing at the vegatation. It was alittle strange that it was alone and that it had no young with it-then again, the threat with humans around, shooting at anything they pleased didn't surprise her if they killed some of them. Damn flat-faces. They disgusted her more than anything else. If she ever caught one of them on her land, well, there would be one less human to worry about.
Refocusing back to the deer, she slowly slithered through the tall grass almost serpant like, slowly edging her way towards her oblivious prey. Every time it would perk it's head up to see if there was any dangers lurking around, Senna would come to an abrupt hault, only moving forwards again when it went back down to graze. Eventually, she got in the perfect range to take it down. With one malicious smirk unfolding onto her features, she bolted out of hiding, running at full speed towards the doe. Her head instantly shot up at the sudden noise, and began to take off. Senna swiftly began to catch up onto it, snapping at it's heels and throwing in a few manevlent snarls here and there, just to add to the effect she had on the petrafied animal. It ran as quickly as it possibly could, using all of it's precious energy to flee with her life. Senna couldn't let that happen. As soon as she got close enough, she flung open her jaws and lunged for it's side. Her fangs sunk into it's flesh as she came to a hault, swinging her head to the side to bring it down. With an agonising cry from the animal, she fell down with a dull thump, flailing her long slender legs in attempt to get back up. Not a chance.
The sable female jumped onto it's body, tearing her teeth and claws into it's flesh. Yet, it wasn't enough to do it serious harm, just some scratches and gashes on it's back and exposed side. Then, she began her old-time plan that she knew so well. She layed ontop of the trembling animal, wrapping her jaws around it's neck. She had some pressure on it, but not enough to snap it's neck. Just enough to make some blood drip from her fangs. Of course, this wouldn't kill the animal at all. Her front paws were draped over it's chest while her claws tormented her skin alittle more. Now, her game began. She liked to call it 'the waiting game'. Her body was ontop of the creature, so some of the struggling was under control. Now, there was only two rules to her game. One, was that the more it struggled, the more pressure she would add to her jaws, tightening her grip each time into her neck as she tried desparatly to escape. The second rule, was that if it didn't move at all.. well, it was either dead from the stress or it was too clever not to move. Then, she would kill it. Either way, it was a win-win situation for her. It would be a long, painful death for the doe, and no dought she was already suffering from the mere fear the wolf was striking at her. The minute it waved it's legs around again, Senna's grip tighened around it's neck, causing more blood to flow down her chops. The more you move, the quicker you die. To some wolves, they would think of this as tedious work. To her, it couldn't have been better. To feel the fear from her terrified victims, to taste the sweet, crimson liquid from them, and just for the entertainment it gave her, she just basically loved to watch things suffer.
Suddenly, one of her auds flicked to a movement somewhere in the tall grass a fair distance away. She couldn't really smell anything at the moment since her nose was covered in blood, but she assumed it was another wolf. With a muffled sigh, she looked at her shaking chew toy. "Looks like your going to have to wait.." She knew that it could probably get away the moment she went to investigate who was there, so with one quick moent, she let go of the animals neck and jumped onto it's back legs, snapping each joint so she wouldn't be able to run at all. With a smile of satisfaction, she turned to head off into the grass, searching for whoever made that noise a moment ago. After looking through it for some time, some fur caught her eye. Proving her assumptions, it was the fur of a wolf. None recognisable, so this one was a tresspasser. Blood dripped down from her maw to her chest, staining it a dark crimson as she padded silently over to the sleeping wolf. How 'cute'. She stopped right in front of her, only to lower her head next to her ears "I'd advise you to get the hell up." She roared, a thunderous snarl emitting from her chest. She firgured that was a good enough wake-up call for her little new-comer.

She often dreamt like this. The same place, the same weather, the same plot. The same dream over and over again. But over time, it came to be less about her old family. A new wolf was taking their place, only showing up in her dreams, not in reality. A certain Brute she had met a couple of months ago, in the snow blizzard, and then again in the Barren lands. Zentha was becoming more and more the main role in her dreams.
He was here again. Watching from the other side of the long lake. The waters seemed to go on forever, but Niyah had found out a while ago that she could walk over them. Just like walking on land, only you have to watch your stepping. But every time she got close enough to him, every time she thought she had finally found him. The water caved in. And she dropped deep into the freezing cold water. One problem, she couldn't swim. The Fae yelped, but nothing but bubbles came out. She tried kicking franticaly, but nothing.
She was loosing her sight. she couldn't see what was going on around her. All she could see was the outline of Zentha, looking down into the water at her. And then he was gone. everything went black.
A sudden noise was what woke her. She couldn't work out what it was at first, footsteps, perhaps? Then the strong smell of blood, mixed with the scent of another wolf. Oh god. Og god oh god. this wasn't good. Niyah looked up slowly, dreading what she was going to see. Black paws. A black body. A pitch wolf stood infront of her. Niyah could tell from her stance that this was the Alphess of these lands. the alphess of Skyla. The last thing she wanted was to get on the bad side of these wolves.
'I'd advise you to get the hell up' The Fae winced at the words, looking up to meet the wolves eyes. She stood up slowly, taking a step back as she did so. How the hell was she going to get out of this? "I'm up." She said, wondering whether to stand up for herself or not. Would this be a good idea, or would she just get herself into a fight? She couldn't fight in this heat! No way! Her tongue was still lolling out of her mouth as she panted, trying to cool herself down.

'I'm up.'
Obviously, She mused, staring the female down as she panted from the heat. Senna's icy sapphies looked coldly at the newcomer, not a single emotion bleaching her face. What exactly did this wolf want around here? Out of all the other places to go, she wanted to take a little nap in the Skyla territory. That, was one heck of a devestating mistake on her part. While she could still be enjoying her little waiting game with her new bloody companion, she had to disturb her from her fun. The alpha slowly circled intimidatingly around the femme, smelling no pack scents off of her. This one went by it's own rules as a loner then. Well, that was too bad. She crossed the wrong border, and in her territory, it was her laws that wolves would have to follow. Stopping in front of the wolf, she remained in a position where she could only see the left side of her body, her gaze locked onto something in the grass. Hm.. Shifting her attention back to the fea, she cast a sharp glance at her from the corner of her eye. "Tell me, what business do you have with the Skyla?" Her voice was as stern as ever, not taking any bull from any wolf that came into her land nowadays. Ever since she had her first littler of pups, she's been alittle protective over them. Any wolf that seemed even slightly suspecious to her was executed on the spot.
Hanataro was laying in the tall grass, watching the scene unfold before him with a amused, lop-sided grin. He knew how his master worked and how she toyed with her 'new friends', but he has gottin used to it. In fact, it often gave him quite the bit of entertainment depending on how the wolf reacts. Her ways of 'welcoming' others to her pack were never dull, one of the most amusing was when she looked at a wolf and immidiatly gave him a countdown to run, just for being a tad bit close to her pups den. Ugh, those pups.. He remembered, just a few weeks ago they were just born, and how he wished he could see them. Now, he wished he never had. They were so wild and carefree, always bouncing around him and Tamen like they were a toy to them. He needed to get away from them for a while, so he followed the alphess to see what she was up to. It was alot better than being jumped, pounced, bit, clawed, pecked at, and being chased across the packlands for falling into there trap that 'it wasn't a bear cub, it was a young pup'. He made a mental note to himself, to never.. ever have children of his own. Watching the two wolves before him, the little jackel gave a flick of his tail before wrapping it around his paws. This should be interesting..
After analising and looked the fea over, she didn't seem like a threat, probably just came here by mistake. Too bad she didn't just let things slip like that. Even if she wasn't a danger, who said she couldn't just toy with this wolf? A devious smile played across her lips as she looked at the other, her eyes having a hint of blood-lust in them. Maybe she could play a game with this one. One with a self-explanitory name: Don't piss me off and you might live game. "If you have any brains at all, I suggest that if you ever have the urge to come onto my land without a valuable reason, resist it."

The looks she was getting from this wolf was enough to drive any wolf out of these lands, she looked so dangerous! Trying her hardest not to break eye contact. The Fae was moving now, and Niyah followed her with her auds, locking her gaze onto this Alphess, only faultering when something moved in the grass not far away.
'Tell me, what business do you have with the Skyla?' Niyah froze on the spot. What was she going to say to this? One wrong word and she would no doubt be dead. What the hell was she suppost to say?! A few possibilities popped into her head, some more beliveable than others. She was just passing through? She got lost? She was sent to deliver a message? A message from who though, that was the problem? The fae rached through these in her mind, trying to pick out the most believable one. "I got a bit lost, my sence of smell doesn't work so good in this heat, so i was not able to smell any scents. After alot of walking, i got tired." she said, still keeping a sterdy gaze on this femme.
Again, something in the grass moved, and Niyahs eyes flickered towards it, but, like before, she saw nothing of much interest. She flicked her ears, trying to catch any out of the ordinary sounds, but nothing cropped up.
'If you have any brains at all, I suggest that if you ever have the urge to come onto my land without a valuable reason, resist it.' A new smile toyed upon her maw, one she had not used before. So she wasn't sure what kind of look it was. She could only hope that it was the "mysterious" kind. "Of course." She said, nodding her head slightly, the smile still upon her face. Of course, she was worried what the outcome of this was going to be, but she didn't show it, it came in a wolfs blood, to not show their true emotions. It was natural of wild animals. "mind if i go now?" She asked, eyes still locked on the Alphess.

Senna watched as the fea hesitated to her question. Simple question, simple answer, right? At least, if you weren't lying. When she finally told her why she was here, she had to crack a smile. Not your normal, bright little smiles. No, it was more like 'your-full-of-it', dangerous smile. "Let me get this straight.." She began, trying to restrain herself from laughing. "It was so warm that you couldn't smell right, so you 'accidently' stumbled upon someone's territory, and then decided to rest here?" She had to admit though, that her lie was alot better than what some other wolves came up with. Still, she was on her lands, and she wasn't about to give this poor femme any mercy. She didn't give it to anyone else, so this wolf wouldn't be any different. Hanataro, the jackel opakti finally emeraged from the grass and sat back a few feet away from them. He wasn't about to get involved with whatever his master was doing, but he might as well get front-row seats to see the scene that would likely unfold.
Then, she gave her that smile. Senna's auds pinned back slightly, obviously not liking that expression. Then she had the courage to ask if she could 'just leave'. Was she trying to mock her? "..Leave, so soon?" She finally repeated, her eyes glinting dangerously at the fea. There was no way she could just let someone prance right in her, get alittle telling off, then just 'let' her leave. She flicked her tail in slight annoyance, and yet, she nodded her head. With that, she began to turn around, walking off. Hanataro watched in disbelief. That was the first time he had ever seen her just walk off without giving some kind of punishment to trespassers. But the alphess didn't intend on leaving yet. Just when she moved a good few feet away, she suddenly turned heel and bolted straight back for the fea snarling savagely. Once she got close enough, she leaped through the air with her jaws flung open, hoping to strike down on her.

As she told the Fae why she was here, she could see that the Skyla wolf wasn't beleiving her as much as Niyah would have liked. She could see the glints of annoyance in her eyes, and it made her nervous. This was a very dangerous wolf in her company, she could see that just by the way the Fae watched her.
'Let me get this straight. It was so warm that you couldn't smell right, so you 'accidently' stumbled upon someone's territory, and then decided to rest here?' Niyah shuffled her feet uncertainly, eyeing the alphess with great caution. "Well, yeah." She said, nodding her head in what she hoped was a convincing way. The Fae could feel the danger in the air, and it hit her then that this was most likely a death wish, defending herself the way she was. Their was no chance she could beat this wolf in combat if the worst came to worst. Mind, she was a fast runner, or at least, fast enough to get herself out of fights in the past. Heck, she could possibly have even escaped Zentha, had she put her mind to it, and if she had actualy wanted to.
Niyah watched the Fae, that strange smile still hanging upon her maw. Awaiting the alphess' reaction to her latest request. '..Leave, so soon?'/i] Niyah cursed when she saw the look the Fae was giving off, and expected all hell to break out, but it didn't. The wolf just stood up, turned around, and began to walk off, towards the small creature that was sat there, that Niyah had only just notised had moved.
Standing up slowly, not quite believing her luck. The Alphess of these lands had let her go, without even a fight. Wow. Not many wolves could say that. She started to turn, still not sure whether this was right or not. When suddenly, from behind her, their was a snarling, and the sound of padding, fast, bolting towards her. Niyah whipped her head round, just in time to see the wolf lunge at her, and strike down on her chest. The Fae, not expecting this, took a little while to react, but still struck at the alphess' head. What was she doung?! This wasn't like her! Getting into fights with the Alpha of an entire pack! Getting into a fight! It wasn't what she usualy did. Oh hell, what if the rest of the pack were to come to help their Alphess? What if the Alpha came, if their was an Alpha?! She was dead for sure.

The female turned just in time for Senna to strike down at her chest, driving her teeth into the flesh and feeling the matallic-tasting liquid ooze into her chops. She let the bitter-sweet taste linger in her mouth for a moment before sinking her incisors deeper into her skin. Her sucessful attack didn't last for much longer, for the female struck her in the head. She loosened her grip and let go her her torn flesh, only to emit an even louder snarl than before. So, now she wants to pick a fight with her? Well, she was certainly not going to hesitate to oblige. This fea had some nerve to come into her pack and test the alpha herself. "I don't think you'll be leaving, at all." She bellowed in a rasped voice, smirking maliciously at the thought of a fight. Her opakti sat in silence, knowing too well that this could get ugly. He knew how Senna worked, what her cruel tactics were, and how she could just pick a fight with anyone. In this case, an innocent wolfess who crossed the borders of Skyla. Weither it was on purpose or not, Hanataro didn't know, but he knew that his master obviously didn't care. He often wondered if she ever cared about the lives of her victims who had fallen prey to her. Probably not, but it seemed like any wolf who didn't want to join her pack, she would either slay or scathe them.
"Mm, so your killing this one?
His thoughts interrupted his masters, making her auds flick alittle. Maybe. Was all she thought. The jackel sighed, laying down onto his stomach and resting his head into his oustretched legs. How long are you going to take? Senna tried to retain her focus with the female, her gaze locked onto her to see if she made any sudden movements, yet, as usual, her little 'guardian' wouldn't keep his damn mouth--or rather, thoughts quiet for a second. I don't know. She took a step forward, positioning herself to attack, when-Fine.. but can you hurry up? I'm hungry, and I was kinda hoping you would get something to eat for me.. maybe a deer or-- "Would you shut up for just one minute?" Her voice was loud, yet it sounded so earie and calm. She knew well that the other wolf couldn't hear a word the jackel was saying, mostly because opakti's could only talk to there master's in there thoughts. The sudden outburst from her would probably make her think she was insane. Then again, striking alittle more fear into the wolf wouldn't be too bad now would it?
With Hanataro going silent, for now, she resumed back to the task at hand. She began to circle the femlae, the fur on the scruff of her neck bristling. The little jackel groaned in defience, he was hungry and she wouldn't even catch him something to eat. He had gotten so lazy when he met up with her, that he just let the pack or her get something to eat for him, rather then using up all of his precious energy to look for something to eat. He wasn't about to go out and look for food himself. No, he had to have his way, and waited for Senna to finish the newcomer. Senna suddenly stopped circling and jerked her body towards the fea, her jaws snapping as she went in for a lunge.

'I don't think you'll be leaving, at all.' Niyah realy didn't like the look on this females maw, and she could tell that she had absolutely no chance what so ever of beating her, the alphess was just too strong. the fae had the serious want to just turn and run, but she couldn't do that. This was the alpha of the skyla she was fighting here. The famous killing machine. If she were to even turn her back for one second, then she was most likely dead. 'what was i thinking?' She asked herself, annoyed. She should have known better.
The alphess had backed off for a moment, giving Niyah enough time to get herself into a defensive positions, just before it all started up again. But ... it didn't. Niyah waited, and waited, auds locked on the wolf, wishing she would just get it over and done with. She was about to die, probably, and the time between the atteck seemed to be dragging itself the furthest it possibly could.
'Would you shut up for just one minute.' The sudden outburst made her jump, yet, it wasn't load, like a shout of anger. Well, it seemed like a shout of anger, except it wasn't realy a shout? Anyway, it confused Niyah. Who the hell was she talking too? The fae took a swift look around, but the only other creature around here was the wierd small canine thing, and she couldn't have been talking to that, it wasn't possible.
The alphess started to circle, drawing closer and closer with every turn, and then it came. She lunged, and Niyah wasn't ready for it. The femmes jaw connected with her throut, and she could feel the blood dripping from the puncture wounds. But before she could get a proper clench with her teeth, Niyah kicked with all her strength, slashing the faes maw with her claws, and scrambling to her feet as soon as the grip was loosened.
____________
Yoru stalked through the long grass, trying to keep her body as low to the ground as she could. She had her sites set on that rabbit. There were lots of Rabbits around, but Yoru wanted that particular one. It was fat, it was meaty, and it was fast, all the things she looked for in a meal. Something that would play hard to get, would give her something to chase after, but would also provide her with a good meal. This Rabbit was one of the best she had found so far, was going to provide some fun. She stopped quietly, careful where she placed her feet, one false move and her future meal was gone. The vixen took a step forward, edging into range, one more step ...
BANG! She was off, racing after the Rabbit like their was no tomorrow, just a little closer and it was hers. She sped up, following the Rabbits every footstep, closing in on it. Yoru clamped her sleek jaws around the rabbits neck, shaking it around and snapping its throut. But then something else caught her attention, a new noise, like a yelping, an animal in pain. But their was something different about this. She had heard many yelps of pain before, but this one sounded warm to her ear, familiar, like she knew this creature. Picking up the limp rabbit, and hiding it in some long grass around the base of a tree for later use, Yoru trotted off to go and see what this comotion was all about.

Another successful strike for the alphess as her fangs connected with the fea's neck. She could feel the blood flowing into her mouth, just for a moment, but as soon as she made contact with her throat, the female surprised her with a forceful kick to the face. She could feel her sharp claws slash down her face, and instantly let her grip loosen. Senna took a few steps back, shaking her head vigorously at the new wounds she had. She cut her? Crimson liquid dripped from her maw.. but it was different. It was not only the female's blood from the previous attack she made on her, but it was also some of her own blood mixed into it. She could feel the stinging pain on her sensitive maw, and knew that she had received a decent hit to her face. Yet, this only made the alpha smirk. This only meant that she may actually put up a decent fight, and not be cowwardly enough to flee. Her pick touge slid out between her parted chops and licked off some of the blood. She looked at her through narrowed sapphires while getting into yet another attacking stance. "Well, don't you know who to pick your battles with?" She had to admit, she never seen too many wolves come into someone's pack alone, get attacked, and fight back with no one else's help. It was just too bad that that would be a fatel mistake for her.
Yeah, sorry to interrupt your little game here, but I'm still hungry.
Hanataro sat impatiently, flicking his banner side to side. He knew that Senna could just go all out and kill the wolf, but no, she had to take so damn slow. To watch a slow and painful death is better, she says. He mused about how she would always prolong her victims death, only actually killing them when they were practically a bloody heap of bones and limbs spread around the ground. For once, he just wished she would hurry up and get it done and over with. After all, he was starving. Senna mostly fed her pups and packmates, but what about him?.. Ok, that was a lie, she did feed him often, but right now she wasn't. And he wanted food. Right now. Not later. Now. Seriously, how long does it take to just go for the neck, snap it, and just get it over wi- Hanataro, seriously. I could easily turn around and snap your neck if I wanted to. I'll feed you later, just stop pestering me. The jackels ears flattened against his head in annoyance. How could she just ignore her right now? He needed food!
Senna rolled her eyes at the opakti and refocused onto the wolf before her. But, something struck her. Another scent. She didn't make any changes to her expresstion on her face, but she knew that there was someone else on her land. It was a canine scent, but not exactly a wolf-type smell.. possibly a coyote? Hanataro. The opakti's auds pricked to his name being called, thinking that it was finally time for a meal. Go check out who our new guest is. If it's anyone your size, take 'em out. If it's bigger.. well, try to come back alive. Hanataro released a short snort at the wolf before looking at his master. He didn't exactly have any sense of smell left, making his sense of hearing much more acute. With that in mind, he twitched his large ears about, and before he knew it, he heard a faint noise in the grass . Fine.. But There better be food in it for me. Slinking past the two wolves, he went out in search of the newcomer. Senna, finally seeing that she had nothing to take off her focus, bolted right for the female without any warning. She was going in for another attack, leaping through the air with ready claws and teeth.

As her claws hit the wolfs maw, and the grip on her throut was loosened, Niyah steadied herself into a proper stance, shaking her head to relieve herself of some of the pain. She looked up, only to see the Alphess licking blood off of her maw. That relieved Niyah a little, glad she wasn't the only one who was injured.
'Well, don't you know who to pick your battles with?' Not able to tell whether this was sarcastic or not, she emitted a growl, baring her fangs at her. Wow, she was alive! She hadn't been killed yet, although the wolf seemed to be trying to, she was doing it slowly, perhaps their was a way out of this after all. A movement in the grass caught her attention, the little canine was still sat their, watching in amusement. Why wasn't that getting attacked for being on her lands?! This wasn't fair!
But then, something changed, ever so slightly. the alphess looked distracted for a minute, she didn't show it well, but it was definatly there. Niyah looked around, trying to spot anything, but quickly turned her attention on the wolf again. What if it was more pack members? Surely their were more? She'd seen packs working before, and usualy the members were around to help the Alphess, to defend her. But no, as far as she could tell, their were no more wolves round.
The wolf looked at the Cananine thing for a minute, who snorted, and stood up to leave. No fair, how come he wasn't getting attacked?! Niyah looked back at the femme, only to see her running straight towards her, claws out and ready. Here we go. The fae growled, and ran back at her, meeting her in the middle, and lunging at her best she could.
Yoru dragged the fat rabbit towards the tree base, aiming to hide it their so she could eat it later. She placed it directly in the middle of the particularly long grass, and took a few steps back. Good, it was hardly visable. She turned around, and trotted slowly towards the noisy area. What the hell was going on?
She reached the top of the hill, and sat their for a minute. Two wolves were having a vicious fight, one coming out worse than the other. But why did that one look so familiar? She had seen the pitch black one out and about, she was the leader of the wolf group here, but that other one. Yoru was sure she had never seen her before, yet it felt like she knew her. Their was something else there too, something smaller was shuffling through the grass. Perhaps a puppy wolf? Or something trying to get out of their way without being squished. Honestly, wolves had no sence for others around them.

She was actually going to stick around for a fight. That was definatly a change for the alphess, seeing that most of her opponents usually backed down and attempted to flee. Of course, she wasn't complaining. This one was brave enough to face the alpha of Skyla, out of all packs, so she had to put up a decent fight. As the fea released a growl and charged at her, the ebon fea just flashed a smirk before quickening her pace. She knew this battle was giong to be interesting. An innocent loner fighting for her life with a savage beast that wasn't going to let her escape. As they ran towards the other, meeting up in the middle, time seemed to stand still for that crucial moment. Both wolves went airborn, jaws parted to seek each others flesh. But whose attack would be successful? Hanataro looked back for a split second to see his master collide head-first into that wolf, blood splattering to the earth. His eyes wandered over there frames. Which one was wounded? Was the alpha alright?
Taking a closer look at the situation, a lop-sided smile was plastered onto his maw. Well, that looks fun.. Senna had her maw draped over the others right shoulder, crimson dripping from her fresh gash. But, her attack wasn't without a price of course. The other female had a firm grip onto her left shoulder. She could feel her own blood ooze from her shoulder, dripping to the earth. This was..quite the ackward stance for Senna. It would be kind of like when she would be playing the waiting game with her prey when she had a firm hold of there necks. Except this time, it was like her victims had turned around and had there own grip on her. Not exactly what she ha planned when she was charging at her, but at least she had a grasp on her. "Make one false move and you won't have your precious limb workable from now on." Her words were slightly muffled by her fur and blood, not daring to loosen her release on her. Still, how long would it take for her to back down? It could be the longest game she would ever play.. it would be quite entertaining. Her little opakti turned around and headed back into the tall grass, his acute auds listening to every noise. He could hear another's footsteps become louder as he walked towards it. As he ventured onwards, moving up a hill were the sound was coming from, he noticed that he couldn't hear it anymore. Did it stop? Scanning his surroundings for a brief moment, he noticed a figure on top of the hill. He was sure it wasn't another wolf. It was too small for that.. so what was it?
Pressing on once more, he made his way to the stop to find the newcomer, sitting down and watching the fight unfold down below. But his senses kicked in. Something wasn't quite right about this.. It was a small, feminine-looking fox. To Hanataro, it seemed like there was more to it. It felt almost familiar.. almost like the time when he met up with that ignorant opakti, tamen. How he loathed that raven, still fluttering about just because the one he was guarding was the Skyla aplha himself, Kaija. If it wasn't for him, he would have ate him by now. Damn bird-- He pushed those thoughts aside, focusing back onto his main objective: find out who this lurker was and what they were doing here. The only problem was; it was a fox. How was he supposed to talk to it? Unless of course it was.. Then, it occured to him. Could it be another opakti..? He highly doughted it. If it was, then where was it's master? As far as he could see, there was no one else around. Heaving a sigh, he knew what his order was. Go check out who our new guest is. If it's anyone your size, take 'em out. If it's bigger.. well, try to come back alive. Senna's words reminded him on what he had to do.. but she looked so innocent.. he couldn't just kill her. Maybe if he just shooed her away, she would leave. Alright, go away. This isn't the greatest place you should be. Go! He barked, knowing fully well that she probably didn't understand a word he said. Hopefully his loud voice would scare her off.

Yoru trotted through the grass, which easily towered taller than herself, yet she still slunk low to the ground, made her feel more protected. She could still hear the vicious fighting, the snarling, ripping and growling of the two wolves, and so she wanted to get closer. Not just through curiosity, but because she could swear that the lighter coloured she-wolf was someone she knew, or had encounted before. This Fae looked SO familiar!
She felt a fresh wave of pain rip through her left shoulder as Niyah collided with the Alphess. She snarled, taking a grip where ever she could get her jaws to clamp onto. The two fell to the ground, jaws locked on the others shoulder. 'One false move and yuou loose your precious limb.' She heard the Fae say.
Niyah could taste the blood in her mouth, atleast she had managed to cause some injury, thank god, but, so had the alphess. She had made quite a bad wound in her flesh, Niyah could tell that without even looking, she could feel the teeth digging into her skin. sharp. "Of course." She answered the threat, not letting go of the wolfs choulder.
Yoru trotted lightly up the side of the hill, aiming to get a better view of the fight. The strong smell of blood was filling the air, making her hungry, and bringing back the vision of the dead rabbit. Oh hell, she was really hungry now. No. she had to focus. Now then ... who was that wolf down there? She studied her for a couple of minutes, but came to no conclusion. She must have just seen her around. But their seemed more to it than that. It was more than just familiarality (?), it was like she was ... what ... from the same litter she had been from or something. But of course, that was impossible.
She was so focused on the fight, that she didn't notice the other creature walk up behind her. 'Alright, go away. This isn't the greatest place you should be. Go!' The voice made her jump slightly, but she didn't show it, and she certainly didn't like the way this animal was talking to her. She turned around, standing on all fours, glaring at whoever it was. There was a fourlegged creature, what were they called? Jackel! The animals that used to steel the food her mother would hide for later use. God she hated them, back then, when their were whole groups of them thriving here. She flicked her bushy tail in annoyance, but straightened her face out into a normal expression, not wishing to get into any fights, whilst their was a perfectly good one goin gon down there, taht she could watch, without the risk of injury. "No, I want to watch this." She said, looking at the male with innocent eyes. She considered asking him if he knew who that Fae was, but decided against it. why would he know/ they were wolves, after all, they didn't connect with other creatures.

'Of course.'
Senna kept her grip on the female with one question on her mind. What to do now? She had her teeth into her shoulder, but so did she. She could threaten her all she wanted, but honestly, there wasn't much use. After all, the other didn't seem like she was going to loosen her grasp very soon. Right now, they were just at a stand-still. If either moved, the other would surely know it. If Hanataro came back, she could make some kind of distraction.. but as her optics looked around for the jackel, he was still no where in sight. That mutt better hurry up..
Hanataro waited with impatience as the fox turned around, glaring at him. He rolled his golden orbs at her when she disagreed to go away. He was tring to help her, and she ignored it. If Senna caught her up here, then she would definatly-- then, something finally dawned on him. His eyes widened, looking at the othere canine with alittle bewilderment. "You..You talked.." He finally managed to say, looked at the fox with curiousity. The only way he could here another animal is if he was guarding them like Senna, or if they were an opakti like himself. He couldn't believe it for a moment. This was the second opakti he met so far.. but what would she be doing here without a master? "So, you must be an opakti. Where's the one you guard?" He looked in all directions, preparing himself to be ambushed or threatened by another wolf, but there was no one else around. Seriously, she couldn't have just come her all alone. Unless of course, she never met her master yet. He wanted to tell her to just leave already, but with that sweet and innocent look of hers.. what harm could she do in just watching the fight. "Fine.. but you should leave when the fight is over, or Senna will find you." Hanataro knew he probably would get into alot of trouble if the alphess found out he never drove out this intruder.. but seriously, she didn't look like she could hurt a fly! But just in case, he sat a few feet away from her and watched the fight continue on below.
Damn that jackel.. Her patience was beggining to run out. Where the hell was he? All she requested of him was a simple task: Find out who was in her lands and take them out. He shouldn't be taking this long unless it was another wolf. Yet, the faint scent she was picking up didn't belong to a wolf. It smelled.. different. She couldn't put her paw on it, but all she knew was that it couldn't be a wolf. Her teeth sank alittle deeper into the tethered flesh of the fea, her blood dripping down her chops. She could attempt to knock her over with some force, but she knew there would be consequences. In turn, some of her own flesh would be ripped out by the others jaws. She tried thinking up another stratigy, but there was no use. Everything went wrong. No matter what kind of plan she thought of, the one flaw that ruined them was the fact that she too had a grip on her shoulder. One move from her, and the other would take advantage of it. Right now, it seemed like she didn't have many options, but to just take the risk. Finally giving into her plan, she jerked her body to the left side, hoping to throw down her victim.

Yoru watched the Jackel curiously, debating whethere to keep glaring at him or not as he rolled his eyes. First impressions were not supposed to be replacable, right?
'You..You talked..' Now it was her turn to role her eyes, what was so wrong about her talking, it wasn't illegal, was it? Did these lands have different rules to the others? Oh hell, that was the last thing she needed at the moment, two raged, law demanding wolves and a wierd Jackel chasing after her. Well, actualy, it would just be this Jackel, because the two wolves looked sort of ... busy. "your quick." She said, flashing him a smile.
'So, you must be an opakti. Where's the one you guard?' This confused her, what the hell was he talking about? Creatures these days just got stranger and stranger .. "Excuse me?" She said, glancing again at the fight.
Feeling the jaws that were locked to her shoulder tighten, Niyah responded to that, clasping her own jaws as hard as she could, yet, clearly not hard enough to inflict alot of pain. She could taste blood in her mouth, but still, the Fae didn't seem to be in any pain, or, atleast, if she was, she was incredibly good at hiding it. Suddenly, their was a a searing pain where the wolves jaws were, and her shoulder went hot. Niyah felt herself being flung to the side, and she hit the ground, head first, with a thud.
Her head was throbbing, and her fur was coated in dirt and blood, but she wasn't going to give up. Actualy, Niyah wasn't sure what she was aiming for, she couldn't kill this wolf, and even if she had been physically able to do so, she wouldn't want to. This was the alphess of a big pack here, already, fighting her was a realy bad idea. But she couldn't just give up. Walk out. Disrespectful, that was. Niyah stood up, shakily, and shook her head, trying to clear the haziness in her eyes. Her lip curled back over her gum, and she snarled at the Fae, ready for another attack.
'Fine.. but you should leave when the fight is over, or Senna will find you.' She understood the first part of his demand, but not the second. Who was Senna? And what would be so bad about being found here? She wasn't a wolf, the intrusion on packlands didn't get in her way. "Senna..?" Then it clicked. "Oh, I see, the big, dark coated female down there. So who's the other one?" She asked, gesturing towards the fight with her head, which she was slowly inching closer to.
[Sorry its short]
