Kishi padded through the long grass, taking in the sweet smell of greenery and water. The sound of the river was somewhat relaxing, and it made her want to sleep, but she had patrolling to do. Surely a small nap wont hurt? No ... I have to finish this so i can get back to the caves. She thought to herself. A herd of deer were visable on the other side of the river, but Kishi had no enthusiasm to give chase, Karn had just caught them a meal anyway, so she wouldn't need to eat again for a while.
She continued walking past the herd of deer, and went to sit in the shade of a tree. To say that it was only early spring, the sun was hot, and it made her feel edgy. The Fae padded up to the river, and lapped up some water, enjoying the feeling of the liquid running down her throut. Kishi then sat back under the tree, and lay down her head. Just five minutes ...

Food. The longer he waited the more weak it would make him when he'd hunt, and after the recent incident he had he needed all his strength. Mentally and physically. "Niyah." He mumbled her name and shivered once. He let his eyes close and the lovely fae stood there in his mind, her picture never changing. It would take forever for him to forget about the wolf...Or maybe more then forever. Every second he spent away from her he was using all of his will power to keep himself from hunting her down. It didn't matter even if he did find her though, did it? After all the way he had said goodbye...She must think of him terribly now.
Why did that thought pain him? He was so used to everyone in the world thinking that way, but Niyah, that wolf...He didn't want it like that. He wanted that moment back were her carefree laugh had echoed through the wind as he pounced on her. The moment all fear was loss. He couldn't continue on like this. It wasn't healthy and it was blocking him from his focus. Skyla. To retrieve the pack that was supposed to be his. That was meant to be his. However that task would be impossible if he didn't have some food in him first.
He leaned in; his nose touched the soil of the ground. The only thing he could pick up from that barely useable sense was that he was now on the outskirts of Xyla. Ah, history. It taught him so much about this pack. Once he claimed Skyla this one would definitely be the first to go. They were enemies, since the day Skyla was created.
Food couldn't wait another day though; this had to be his meal place whether or not he hated it. But he'd have to keep low, maybe he'd even be lucky enough to run into a member of the pack...Kill it, and then leave his mark. Haha. The thought was tempting, it would definitely be enough to scare everyone into thinking Zentha stalked their lands, that nightmares really did exist. So he started, running agilely and noiselessly through the packlands. His ears twitched and turned listening to anything out of the ordinary that could give him a warning as to who could catch him. But the deeper he got, the louder the sounds of many hoofs hitting the ground became. He was near.
It didn't take long before the herd of deer passed him. He stayed low, hiding in anything close and pushing on his hind legs. Then he was jumping through the air, his claws outstretched towards the nearest one. He let his claws pierce it, and he bit down on one of its legs. However he let go, watching without pity as it limped away. He stalked it more, angling just perfectly so when he jumped through the air again he landed on its back. His teeth ripped through its neck and his claws sliced easily through fur and skin. Then he was dining, enjoying the wonderful meal.
But he ate uneasily. The feeling of someone near was strong, and he couldn’t help but feel curious; wondering if there truly was a wolf near. He would have heard them by now, wouldn't he? Just in case he left his half eaten deer to be, walking stealthily towards the direction in which the herd had come from. To his amazement and delight there lay a wolf, sleeping under a tree. Of course the smartest thing to do would have been to jump out and kill her while she slept, an easy death. But since when did easy intrigue Zentha?
He slid forward, moving silently on the earth’s soil. He moved his muzzle as close as he dared towards her ear so he could whisper in a soft and wicked tone. "Sleeping at this time of day?"

Gentle eyelids fluttered as her dreams were disturbed by a soft wispering. Her first thoughts were Karn, but then the terrible truth came back to her. Karn was dead, killed in a stampede of deer, leaving her quite alone. And since Eyolf had dissapeared, she felt more lonely then ever.
The wisper was loud, but quiet at the same time, and it woke her with quite a start. She flicked her eyes open, to see a Brute standing above her. She lifted her head, moving her head away from his worryingly close maw.
'Sleeping at this time of day?'
She stood up, taking a step away from the strong looking Brute. "I was tired. May i ask what you are doing on these lands, i take it you are not a pack member." She looked at him again. "No, your not a member of the Xyla." She glared at him, standing her ground, and trying not to show the spooky air that this male gave off. Their was just something about him that told her he was evil, like her Brother, like Kione. He must be a Skyla member? Surely? Kaija would jump for joy on having such a strong Brute in his pack, or maybe not, giving the time of the year, she suspected that her brother would be very cold towards other males, especially now he was with Senna.
It was raining slightly, the odd drop falling before her eyes, and it didn't take long for the water to start plummeting down, becoming quite the downpour. They call this spring? She thought to herself, without taking a weary eye off of the new wolf.
((Sorry its so rubbish, my muse has gone lol))

Zentha moved back also, for now allowing the fae some space. She had probably been startled by his sudden appearance, like she should be. Like all should be. It wasn't right for Niyah to be an exception. Why couldn't she have been scared also? Maybe things would be different, maybe he would have been strong enough to kill her if that had been the case. His head shook, almost as if trying to throw the thoughts away. She was taking up to much of his mind, he needed to forget her. And that's exactly what this fae was. A distraction.
"I was tired. May i ask what you are doing on these lands, i take it you are not a pack member." A pack member? Please, the day I join a filthy rubbish pack like this would be the day hell freezes over and-! "No, just out for a little stroll and i happened to notice you. I couldn't let a poor defenseless little thing like you remain so vulnerable, that would be a horrible thing to do, don't you agree?" His concerned and sympathetic words didn't match the wicked smirk he bore at all. "No, your not a member of the Xyla." He could've growled for even the thought of being a member. Of course he held it back, knowing it would definitely sound off. The fae didn't seem to know who he was, alike most, and he was going to keep it that way for as long as possible.
"To be truthful, I belong to no pack, nor will I ever." I prefer owning to be a better word for it. I don't now, but someday I /will/ own Skyla. He sat back on his hinds, watching her closely. It was obvious this wolf was in the Xyla pack, if she questioned him like this. The thought of being in the presence of a member...It sickened him. This would most definitely be the first one to go. "May I ask where the alphas are?" If she needed a reason to explain, he would certainly make up an excuse for an odd request like this. However a new thought had occurred to him as he sat there. Why should he have to wait? He wanted this pack gone, well actually he had a better idea now. Dead wasn't good enough.
There was only one other thing in the world he enjoyed more. Fear. He wanted this pack to fear him, and the best way to start would be with their leaders, would it not? Scare the alphas, scare the pack. It would be simple. How to take them both at the same time would be the problem.

Kishi watched the Brute stood infront of her with facination. She couldn't help but feel the air of evil he gave off, and it made her feel uncomfortable in his presence.
'No, just out for a little stroll and i happened to notice you. I couldn't let a poor defenseless little thing like you remain so vulnerable, that would be a horrible thing to do, don't you agree?'
Kishi didn't reply to this, she just looked at him with her head tilted slightly to the side. Her eyes flicked to the herd, and then to a dark lump that lay on the floor not far away. It seemed that this Brute had been hunting on her lands, and this did not impress her, it made her feel quite annoyed.
'To be truthful, I belong to no pack, nor will I ever.'
At first look at this Brute, he didn't look much like a loner, he wasn't skinny, or hungry looking like she used to be when she was alone, and he was definatly confident in himself. When he asked about the Alphas, she felt a pang of hurt in her stomach, it made her think about Karn, her dead mate. "May i ask why you want to know? And what makes you think you are not already in the presence of an Alpha? They could be here right now, watching you." She didn't know what had made her say this much, but she wanted wrid of this Brute, to be honest he creeped her out, and she didn't like it one bit.

"May i ask why you want to know? And what makes you think you are not already in the presence of an Alpha? They could be here right now, watching you."
He chuckled softly before taking a glance around. His head rose and he sniffed at the air uselessly. Nothing, well of course. Wat had he expected. His ears turned in different directions trying earnestly to pick something up, but the only sounds apparent were hooves moving away and hitting the ground gently. If they were around there was only the slightest of chances for Zentha to pick any trace of them up, of course he was sure by now they would've made themselves present if they had been watching him.
He trotted forward, trying his luck at how near the fae would let him come. "Well if that's so would you mind calling them out for me? I'd be awfully grateful. And I have something very important to tell them."
{Dead muse, sorry.}

Kishi sighed to herself. He seemed to find her words amusing, and this annoyed her slightly. She watched him take a look aorund their surroundings, apparently looking for the Alphas. It seemed he had not caught on that she was the only alpha of this pack. The Fae watched the deer realise that their were two wolves in their presence, and begin to get worried, trying to put a good distance between them. She also notised a large Raven land in the tree above them, and cast its beady stare at them, apparently watching. She ignored it, Kishi had always disliked large birds such as the one above, they were scavengers, pestering you when you were trying to eat.
The Brute took a couple of steps towards her, but she stood still, standing her ground, and not wanting to seem afraid. 'Well if that's so would you mind calling them out for me? I'd be awfully grateful. And I have something very important to tell them.' She shifted her eyes towards him, staring without blinking. How was she going to get around this. She didn't know what it was, but she had the feeling that this Brute would be dangerous to the pack for some reason, but what harm could one wolf do against an entire pack? Well, she didn't know if you could call it a pack, their only were two members after all, her and Fleeter. "I'm afaid i can't. Err, the Alpha male has ... er ... gone. And you are alwready in the prence of the Alphess." Had she said to much, she had meant it to sound as though she, or, the Alphess was keeping her distance just watching, but the words sounded more to her as though she had practicaly told him who she was. Damn ... The Raven was still sat up in the tree watching, and it seemed to be keeping a beady eye on the Brute, but still she ignored it, hoping that maybe later she could perhaps make a meal out of it. Kishi hadn't wanted to tell him that the Alpha male was gone, that would have put the pack in greater danger, but he was sure to catch on, with Karns scent fading from the lands quickly.

The sound of the footsteps continued to fade, though Zentha didn't mind. His diner still awaited him feet away. Of course, by the time he got back if the food wasn't still as good he'd already be chasing after the herd or finding another. He wouldn't settle for less or an easy way out of eating, even if it was the smartest thing to do. Tree's rustled, immediately calling his attention to that spot. A large black bird stood there; the raven was watching them, or looking for food. He thought back to his deer, the bird was certain to get it if he didn't hurry. So he was definitely hunting again after this...At least it would distract him more from that fae. The more distractions, the better.
If Zentha had ever been told the truth about the pack's numbers, well he'd be sure to rid the land of them in a heartbeat. But he'd never be able to find that out for himself; useless nose...
"I'm afaid i can't. Err, the Alpha male has ... er ... gone. And you are alwready in the prence of the Alphess."
Gone? Gone... Gone. The thought amused him, and yet irritated him at the same time. At least he'd be able to scare the alphess, once he found her of course. Then it hit him. His cocky smile grew, the truth becoming even more obvious with her earlier words as well...No you're not a member of Xyla. But how would any normal pack member know that? ...Already in the presence of an alpha...watching you... He smiled yet again in triumph at his conclusion. So, this fae is alphess? Well she should be lucky enough to thank me for not ripping her head off those slim and fragile shoulders of hers when I had the chance...
No. There would be time for that later. He couldn't dare hurt the femme; yet anyways. First he had to deliver a certain message to her. He moved forward again, though he had noticed her still yet protected state it had caused her last time. But he would push his chances. His paws moved him further and he passed by her, only so their pelts brushed lightly against each other. The moment he did however his smile vanished completely. Howling filled his ears, from the wind. The cold gnawed at him and yet he felt odd warmth as Niyah brushed against him as passing. It had been the act she'd done before he had chased her down and then...He winced, and took a few steps forward from the fae with him now.
No, he needed to keep his distraction going, and push Niyah as far from his mind as possible. It took a few seconds but he reminded himself of his earlier goals. He stood behind her now, and pretended to examine the ground as if it were an amazing piece of work. "So would you mind taking my message then?" He glanced back towards her, eyes sparkling with anticipation, and his smile growing again.

Kishi watched the Raven, glaring into its beady eyes. He didn't move though, no matter how much of a dangerous look she gave him, which got on her nerves, everything at the moment seemed to be around to annoy her, mess with her head. Was it just her ... or was this bird keeping to much of a keen eye on them? Perhaps it was just her being over cautious, but their was something strange about that bird. Then again, their was a nice fresh deer corpse not far behind then, so that was probably why it was here.
The Fae chaged her gaze to the Brute. He hadn't tolf her his name, which most wolves do when meeting a new being, which caught her as odd. He was wearing a cocky grin, which shifted slughtly as he seemed to think deeply over something. She could tell that he was trying to work something out, perhaps trying to distinguish where the Alphas were. As she watched his cocky grin grow more large, her chest tightened in worry. Had he worked out who she was? What if he knew that the Alpha make was dead? She didn't know how dangerous he was, but that made him seem even more scary, not knowing how much of an enimy he would be to the pack.
The Brute walked forward some more, brushing past her lighty. Kishi growled, baring her teeth slightly. But something seemed to catch him, because he was quick to walk behind her, aparently not liking physically touching other wolves. 'So would you mind taking my message then?' Phew, it seemed he had not caught on who she was. "Of course." The Fae replied lightly, watching him cautiously, it was usualy now that enimies attacked, when wanting to give a message, and he seemed like the type to wish to inflict pain upon others.
((Ahh, not my best, but my muse is mending lool))

Though it was true the big black bird irritated him highly, he couldn't take his eyes off the fae. He was worried that the moment he did visions of Niyah would try and fog up his eyesight once again; maybe in hopes to send him off chasing the wolf. A part of him leaped in joy for that option, another shunning it in disgust. He was stronger than that. His will power would keep him to the goals he set long before meeting the beautiful femme. That was the past. He'd never see the intriguing wolf ever again and he'd force himself to live with it. He would adapt.
"Of course."
"Tell your alphess" His voice finally matched his wicked gaze. It was deadly and cold, filled with mischief. "That Zentha the last pure descendent of Angi, is here and if she doesn't want her pack torn to shreds..." He raised his head as his eyes narrowed. His tone matched a growl, though his wicked grin held it's place. "...limb by limb..." He chuckled softly, the sound resembling a hoarse bark. The thought of watching such a scene was bliss. He would definitely take his time and enjoy it when the time came. Ah, sweet, sweet revenge. Such a pleasant thing in Zentha's mind. "Then it would be wise of her to keep a close eye over her pack, or run like the cowards Xylas are known to be." He spoke as if a message was supposed to be delivered. He was almost sure, however, that the fae he spoke to was the Alphess.
Cowards. And that's exactly what Zentha thought of them. Their old Alpha Dukan, had been nothing but a coward. He hadn't avenged the death that was meant to be. One of the many reasons Zentha now despised humans greatly. But also this pack. For it was enemies with his future one.
{Glad to hear you have your muse back. : ) Lol. Mines still gone somewhere.}

The raven was up into the skies, heading towards the Skyla packlands. She watched it disapear into the distance, not taking any notice of the dead Deer, and into the clouds. She switched her gaze to the Brute, who was watching her unnervily.
'Tell your alphess, That Zentha the last pure descendent of Angi, is here and if she doesn't want her pack torn to shreds ... limb by limb ... Then it would be wise of her to keep a close eye over her pack, or run like the cowards Xylas are known to be.' He took little breaks through out his sentence, making the tension worse, and finding parts amusing. The last decendant of Angi? That was impossible, they were all dead! And Zentha, that was just a myth! It wasn't real, he wasn't real! This wolf couldn't possibly be Zentha! "You can't be a pure decendant of Angi, they are all dead, it impossible." She said it coldly, glaring at the wolf. "And if you realy are cowards, then i don't think you can call us cowards, seeing as you have been hiding for the past years.! She said, smirking. Kishi didn't wish to get into a fight, but she hated it when others abused her pack, just because they didn't have a good story to them, like the Skyla, or Liazo, doesn't mean they were usless, or cowards! When had she ever backed out of a fight?!
The Fae growled at "Zentha", showing her gums and teeth alot. She realy had started to dislike this Brute. She ignored the air of evil, and took to examining him. Strong body, evil looking, icey eyes, yes, it was quite possible that this wolf was Zentha, he matched the description given with the stories. Her eyes widened, as she realised how much danger she and her pack were in, she had pups nearby, alone, this didn't look good.

"You can't be a pure decendant of Angi, they are all dead, its impossible." So, for years of disappearance this is what he got? At least this helped him realize how the rest of the island would react to his presence. Denial. It was all for the best though, the only slim chance he'd be able to take the whole Skyla pack for his own if his timing and attacks were just perfect. If the pack had no idea of Zentha's existence many more possibilities opened for him. The thoughts of triumph and conquest had almost dragged him away from his current situations. He suppressed the cruel, yet thrilling thoughts.
Her next words amused him as well. Though the smirk the fae had irritated him highly. She had no right questioning him. Zentha. She should be thanking him. Be grateful that he had been in hiding all those years. Just before he had left wolves every moment of his life had been mostly spent in bloodshed killing all who dared approached him. Many more would be dead also if he hadn't taken a break to force others into thinking that the wolf, Zentha, had just been a mere story. So people forgot those vicious killings. So people forgot that he had ever existed. Hiding...It wasn't his favorite word to use for the way he lived those couple years. Plotting, watching, thinking, the words better described how he acted.
"It wasn't cowardly of me to hide. It was wise. In my rampage there's the chance I might've lost self-control and killed all who didn't meet my high standards. That includes you, fae." He replied to her incorrect statement. Though his words were even and somewhat calm, rage for what she had said was evident, almost as an echo.
His back legs crouched only a bit, his tail high in the air. His front legs bent until they were almost flat on the ground. The crouch was alike a playful one-he wasn't quite ready to kill the fae yet, if in the end she was still infuriating him he'd show no mercy. The brute raised his tail mockingly, and his lips pulled over his teeth as well. He growled back, but a devious smile was apparent. Whether the femme would fight or not-Zentha had a pretty good idea that she would. After all she seemed to be trying to prove that her pack wasn't cowards-He would wait for her first attack.

Staring coldly at Zentha, Kishi listened to his words. He seemed to have a wise wome back for everything, and his little speach made her irritated. She could tell he was trying to keep his cool, but the rage he felt from her words were beginning to seep through. She hated the way he adressed her as "Fae", it was what her parents used to call her. She had the right to be adressed as her name, any wolf did, not "Fae".
She let out a low growl from her throut. "It seemed to me as though you killed for the sake of it, all those years ago, why stop now? Why not just wrid the Island of all those who do not strike you as worthy? After all, that seemed your goal all those years ago, why stop now. But, if you are going to kill me, i would prefer you to call me by my proper name, Kishi, not Fae." She said calmly.
He was crouching now, aparently torn between wheather or not to attack her. Kishi kept her eyes locked on him, ready to defend herself if he were to punce. She glanced to where the bird had been, some what missing its presence, whilst it was here, she had felt slightly more comfortable, as though he would help her in attack, but of course that was stupid, all they did was scavenge on their left overs. Now he was gone however, she felt very vulnerable, Fleeter was no where to be seen, and she was sure this Brute was stronger than her.
((Do you want me to bring the Skyla into this, because the Raven was Kaijas Opakti, and he could tell him what is going on. Kaija is Kishis brother btw lool))

"It seemed to me as though you killed for the sake of it, all those years ago, why stop now?" Ah, those carefree days of bloodshed and terror. It was true after he murdered his parents, he had killed for the fun of it. Just for the thrill and rush it gave him as he watched fear swell in their eyes, or their pleas and begs for mercy. The way they fought back uselessly or tried to make a run for it. But it hadn't always been like that. At first Skyla had only been slightly appealing to him bu the older and older he grew the more he craved power.
"Why not just wrid the Island of all those who do not strike you as worthy? After all, that seemed your goal all those years ago, why stop now." More questions? He thought about it for a moment, deciding whether or not he should respond. Why did this femme care anyway? If that had ever been the case, all but two wolves would be left with him on the island. Flint, his last living son who he hadn't seen in years since the day he left his dead mate, and Niyah. He would try his hardest but he found it even impossible to think about such a thing. Even if the fae didn't like him anymore after the way he left things...But that would be best, wouldn't it? For Niyah not to care at all for him? He winced subconsciously, the thought more painful then he expected. Why that was, was still a mystery.
"The reason I stopped is none of your concern. But, if you must know lets just say I had other priorities that were much, much more important." Like taking over Skyla for instance.
"But, if you are going to kill me, i would prefer you to call me by my proper name, Kishi, not Fae." Kishi. Alphess of Xyla? He searched for anything he might've overheard about her from loners he passed. Nothing seemed to ring a bell though, of course he never did stay to listen to other wolves that much. "Of course. So Kishi, any last words?" He barked another chuckle, watching the fae before him closely.
{Yeah, that would make it alot more interesting! ^^}

The Fae watched Zentha think over her words, he seemed to be annoyed that she was asking so many questions.
'The reason I stopped is none of your concern. But, if you must know lets just say I had other priorities that were much, much more important.' She watched him closely. Was he going to attack her, or just scare her, and act all important? The lands went unnaturaly quiet, as if waiting for something to happen. She wanted to attack, wanted to get out of this mess, but what good would come out of that? He was much stronger than her, and it wouldn't take long for him to take her down.
'Of course. So Kishi, any last words?'
What to say on a death bed? Well, their was a whole lot to say, she could have begged mercy, but that would have been disraspectful on the Xyla, to beg for life, and not out up a fight. She stood on all four feet, and began to edge her way around him, whilst watching him through her own eyes and into his cold, icey auds. "Nope" After all she had been through in her life, she wasn't going to walk into deaths arms, she would at least fight for life.
