Ali walked through the burnt out forest and found a small patch where he could sit and admire the view. After sitting down Ali let out a soft sigh. So then, I guess I should wait for the Past, I can't seem to find it anywhere. The Shaman took a deep breath and closed his eyes. After a small while, Ali opened his eyes. "Darn it!" he shouted. "Why? Why can't i remember..."
Ali got up and walked around, letting the cool breeze blow through his fur. He looked out to the Islands far away and wondered if his past lay there. The brutes mind drifted off, but it did not have any luck of finding the hidden past. Ali shook his head. This is going to be harder than I thought. He took a seat once again on top of a burnt out tree. He needed someone to talk to, but wasn't really in the mood for talking. Ali took in a large breath and sighed once again.
((Sorry it's a bit short, my first post....))

Padding through this part of her lands wasn't what Kishi enjoyed doing best. They were too ... dead. But, hey, what could you do? They needed patrolling, and she was the only one that could do it, seeing as she hadn't seen any other pack members for a while now. The Fae rubbed her paw against the ground, moving some of the dirt and dead leaves, only to find ... more dirt and dead leaves. Normaly, new life would have started to grow, but not here. Making it look lifeless. Stupid none growing plants. She thought, not in the mood for messing.
Kishi had been feeling incredibly lonley recently, now that the pups had all left, and Atia and Amaterasu seemed to have dissapeared. She hadn't even seen much of Senna or Kaija, even if they were skyla members, she usualy saw the out and about. Come to think of that, she realy ought to stop thinking of them as friends. Traditionaly, the Skyla and xyla were enimies, and she knew perfectly well that it was going to stay that way, even if their was peace at the moment, hell was sure to break out after a while. Even if they had helped her a hell of a lot in the recent year, she should start thinking more about her own pack.
It was then a scent caught her attention, and her ears pricked at a faint sound. It was only quiet, but it was definitly there. Curious, she started towards it, paws dragging slightly in the leaves. She was hungry, tired, and couldn't be bothered with all this getting outsiders out of the lands. but still, it had to be done.
(( Did you want to RP him getting accepted into the pack, or just go as if he is already a member? And don't worry, your post is fine xD ))

((I was thinking he was already in. And thanks.))
Ali sat there for a long time, trying to focus his mind on the past. He didn't recall anything. It was then that he caught a scent. He almost immediately recognized the alphas scent. "Hello?" he said cautiously, just in case he had made a mistake.
He looked in the direction he could smell the female. He could hear the dragging of paws in the leaves. Out of years of experience, he knew that that couldn't be a good sign. "Hello?" he repeated, slightly less cautiously. He got up off of the tree and made a rather loud bump on the ground. After falling off, Ali quickly got back up to his feet and had shaken off most of the dirt trapped in his fur. How could I be so clumsy? he thought.

The further forward she walked, the stronger and clearer the sounds got. Their was definitly someone there. Kishi stalked forward, flicking her tail slightly. If this was an intruder, then she wasn't going to be happy. She certainly wasn't in the mood for messing.
The Fae could tell she was getting closer, not only by the sounds, or the growing scent, but by the oncoming feeling that she was alone. You know that feeling you get, when you know somebody is there with you, you just can't see 'em? Well, she had that. Her ears twitched nervously, panelling round to any sound. Why was she scared? she shouldn't be scared. These were her lands, and any outlanders should know better then to be here without permissions. Or, they were going to find that out, anyhow.
The closer she got, the stronger the scent was. She imediatly relaxed. She knew that scent. It was one of the Xyla members. Ali. The Shamen. Kishi smiled, finally, she had someone to talk to. If she had leaft it any longer, she would surely have gone mad.
The Brute finally came into her sights, and she could hear him fully now. 'Hello?' He sounded cautious, weary. Nervous even. He was older than her by a couple of years, and Kishi could clearly see the big scar on his chest. Jeez, the amount of time she'd seen that, and it always bought the same thought with it. Painful. That wound must have hurt. Alot. But he was a Shamen. He was built to deal with that sort of stuff.
The Fae sat for a moment, watching. Her eyes slowly wondered around the surroudings. The same, dead, lifeless grounds. Boring. This place seriously needed some greenery! Why couldn;t wolves learn gardening? For gods sake. Well, because that was stupid. Why the hell would a wolf need to know how to garden. She was rambling, now, and was about to walk out, when Ali tripped over something. Kishi had to stifle a laugh, because laughing at him was mean. And that wolf could do wonders for a creature in pain, especialy with the new threats drawing towards the Island.
Waiting for him to stand, Kishi padded out into the small clearing, with a simple "Alright?" and a smile as her greeting.

Ali smiled. Well, at least he had been right about the scent being the Alphas. He watched her as she padded in front of him. "Alright?" she asked. Ali responded almost immediately. "Umm, Kishi...I didn't expect to see you around here." He sat down and looked out to the sea. "I guess you're patrolling then."
"I'm fine thank you." said Ali, eventually replying to the question he had been asked. He sighed. "Who am I kidding, I'm going crazy!" he said after a while. "Do you know how hard it is to remember the past you've forgotten?" Ali got up and scratched the ground. "I've been here for quite a while, trying. But I have had nothing."

'Umm, Kishi...I didn't expect to see you around here.' She heard him say immedietly, and wasn't sure whether to take this sentence as suspicious or not? He had never seemed a bad wolf? Meh, maybe she was just being paranoyed. 'I guess you patrolling then.' Kishi nodded, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws to stop the wind from getting too them. This place was strange. Even though the air was almost always hot, except in the winter, the wind was always cold. No matter what the season was. And it was worst wen it was raining. Jeez.
'I'm fine thank you.' She smiled at him, glad to know he was feeling good. But then his expression changed. 'Who am I kidding, I'm going crazy!' This sudden change of mood took her by surprise, but she sat through it, waiting to listen to his problem like a good Alphess does. "You are?" 'Do you know how hard it is to remember the past you've forgotten?' The fae thought about this for a moment. It had never realy occured to her before, the parts of her past that she didn't remember. She knew all the important parts, but some of it was a blur. But she knew all she needed to know, and so didn't bother trying to remember the others. "Well, no, not really. I don't tend to bothger with the parts i don't remember, because they can't be a very imprtant part of my life, if i can't picture them, y'know?" She said, smiling at him.
'I've been here for quite a while, trying. But I have had nothing.' Kishi nodded at him sympatheticly. Of course she knew what it was like to lose something, and then not be able to find it at all. Really annoying. "Try not looking for it. It'll come to you eventually. Why, how much is blank?" She said, trying out a reassuring tact.

"Try not looking for it. It'll come to you eventually. Why, how much is blank?" Kishi said. Ali looked to her. "Everything. I can only remember that day when I met you, my first day here." he said. "And maybe you're right. If I wait it might come to me. I suppose we had better get on with our lives then."
Stupid memories. Why are they hiding? Are they afraid of me or something? Or maybe I'm afraid of them....
Ali walked a few steps and then stopped. "Maybe it needs a trigger. Something to spark it." he said. He shook his head. "But how am I going to know what?" he said. Ali looked up to Kishi. "Ah well. So, any news? I haven't been keeping up. Though I have heard of a 'threat'? What is it?" asked the Brute, clearly showing a lot of interest in the matter.

'Everything. I can only remember that day when I met you, my first day here.' Kishi smiled at him again. Hell, she was doing alot of smiling. But that must be aweful, only remembering that much. If that happened to her, then her whole life would be turned upside down. She wouldn't be alpha of this pack, she would be on speaking terms with her brother. Jeez. 'And maybe you're right. If I wait it might come to me. I suppose we had better get on with our lives then.' She nodded, although wasn't sure what the chances were, now that she knew how much he actualy remembered. "Should do." She said, her attention flicking to a slight noise in the dead trees to her right. Seeing that it was justa small, skinny rabbit, she turned her attention back to her pack member. Ooh, hang on. Damn. No. The Rabbit wouldn't be worth eating. Too skinny.
'Maybe it needs a trigger. Something to spark it. But how am I going to know what?' Kishi wasn't sure whether he was talking to himself or not, but she answered him anyway. "It'll turn up evenutaly." The Fae said, sounding as reasurring as she possibly could. Things usualy did turn up when you not looking for them, and then don't turn up when you are looking for them. Struth, it was like the world was agains them.
'Ah well. So, any news? I haven't been keeping up. Though I have heard of a 'threat'? What is it?' Her jaws very nearly dropped at this. He didn't know what the threat was?! Oh my lord! He must be like, the only wolf on this entire Island to not know. Where had he been?! "Depends which threat your talking about. The Island riddled with them at the moment. For one thing, Zentha has made a couple of appearences around and about, which isn't just a rumour. I trust you know the legend of Zentha? Or stories, more like..?" She said, watching his reactions carefully. Their hadn't been anymore sighting of him since, what, a couple of months ago, but he was definitly still around. An evil wolf like that wouldn't just dissapear without finishing his work. "and then theres the latest threat, these are just rumours, but you can't be to careful. God knows, anything can happen here. Nothings a surprise. Theirs been some talk about man, humans, with barrels, stepping foot on the other Islands that surround this one. The smaller ones. Only a matter of time before they come here."

Ali changed his expression. "What?" he asked in disbelief. Suddenly he turned away from Kishi and stared out to the sea. His ear pricked up and his eyes closed. He was having flashbacks.
A while later he opened his eyes and lowered his ears. He looked to Kishi. "Humans? Are you sure?" he asked worriedly.

'Oh yes, not a good thing.' Kishi smiled and nodded. She had expected him to know the legends, because, well, everybody on the Island knew the stories. They were like, history that must be known. He was like ... Hitler or something. Yeah, he was sort of a wolf version of Hitler. According to the stories anyway.
When she told him about the humans, she could see the shock on his face as clear as day light. 'What?' He turned away from her for a minute, and she watched him look out towards the sea. The fae cocked her head to the side for a minute patiently. This news was going to be pretty hard to believe, and she in herself wasn't sure whether she believed it or not, but you could never be too careful. A rumour has to start somewhere, right?
But she didn't want to start a panick attack, even if it was true. That was the last thing they needed. Ali turned back around, looking as worried as ever. 'Humans? Are you sure?' She shrugged, keeping her expression calm. "It's just a rumour at the moment. Nothings been proven. But can't be too careful, right?" She said reassuringly.

"It's just a rumour at the moment. Nothings been proven. But can't be too careful, right?" said Kishi. "No, you can't" replied Ali quietly. "You really can't."
I can't understand this. I would have noticed the humans. It can't be right. At least, I hope not.
"So, what about the other pack members? Are they holding up alright?" Ali asked, not knowing what else to say. Of course, he's not the chatty type. He didn't need to be.
"And what about the other packs? Any signs of attack?" Ali was quite interested in this matter, because if they were going to fight, he would need to be ready. He was a Shaman after all, healing was what he did best.
Ali sighed and scratched the ground slightly. "Flashbacks." he said. "I just had a flashback. Thats why I looked out to sea. It usually clears my mind." Ali got up and took a few steps forward. "And you better not be right about humans."

'No, you can't, you really can't.' Cocking her head to the side slightly, Kishi watched Ali curiously, she could see that something was troubling him more than he had told, but wasn't sure whether to ask or not. She didn't realy know Ali very well, hadn't taken much time to get to know him. Some Alpha she was. Her ears flicked suddenly to s slightly sound to the left of them, and she switched her gaze towards the trees, squinting in an attempt to see through the darkness that was rapidly aproaching. Dismissing it as a small creature of some sort, she fixed her sights back on Ali.
'So, what about the other pack members? Are they holding up alright?' Shifting to put her weight on her other side, the Alphess thought about this, which she hadn't done alot of recently. "To be honest, I haven't seen anyone, other than yourself. I assume they are all holding up good, I haven't heard anything to presume it otherwise." She said, angling her gaze back into the trees. Had she just seen something move? ... No, apparently not. 'And what about the other packs? Any signs of attack?' This was easy enough to answer. "Nope, all rivalry seems to have died down for the time being, with the new threats lurking around. and not forgetting the Centaurs, as far as I have heard, they have been keeping the Skyla on edge leately. And the Liazo territory is incredibly quiet, no idea where they have gone." Had they died out or something? She knew that the Skyla members were still going, their territory was still being scent marked every other day. But the Liazo? Nothing had been heard from this for, like, ever?
Ali seemed to be far away inside his own head for a while, but Kishi sat patiently, not willing to bother him when he was like this. She hated it when she was in a world of her own, and then other wolves bought her back down to the dangers of earth. He soon explained what was going on though. 'Flashbacks, I just had a flashback. Thats why I looked out to sea. It usually clears my mind' Had he just remembered a part of his past, without even trying? Had he just achieved the thing he had been struggling to do, and had been bothering him, without even attempting it? At least, she assumed her wasn't trying. 'And you better not be right about humans.' "I hope not. Lord help us if its true, this Island won't last more than a month at the maximum."

"To be honest, I haven't seen anyone, other than yourself. I assume they are all holding up good, I haven't heard anything to presume it otherwise." Ali nodded, he hadn't seen anyone around either. Which he hadn't expected to anyway. I mean, who would want to speak to him?

"I hope not. Lord help us if its true, this Island won't last more than a month at the maximum." Ali laughed. "Come on, give it two at least. And it's not the island I'm worried about." said Ali. "It's the pack which concerns me. Especially you." he turned to Kishi. "I can't loose an Alpha." Ali smiled, and then added, "Not after the good times I've had here."

Watching the Brute patiently, Kishi turned her gaze towards the ocean, just about able to see the small Island that was off the shore of Kongrai. The one that was always surrounded in myst. It was a strange little Island. One that was not known very well by the wolves. It was hard to access, and god knows what lived there. Had the Humans reached that one yet, if the rumours were true? If they did, then it was only a matter of time before they managed to get to Kongrai. But their was no use worrying about it. It was just a rumour, right? And, if the worst did come along, then there would be nothing they could do to stop it. They might aswell just let them come.
When she told him about the other packs, Kishi saw the smile spread across his face, and knew exactly what he would be thinking. Days off. After all, who wouldn't? 'Come on, give it two at least. And it's not the island I'm worried about. It's the pack which concerns me. Especially you. I can't loose an Alpha. Not after the good times I've had here.' The fae cocked her head to the side, twitching her ears, and arching an eyebrow. Or she would have, if she could have. She turned her attention back on her Shaman, struggling to come up with any good times he could have had. But hey, she hadn't seen him around much, he could have had a hell of alot of fun, and she wouldn't have known about it.
Kishi noted to herself to pay more attention and spend more time with her pack, instead of patrolling all of the time. There were plenty of wolves around the Island, and if humans were to invade, then she would be quick to know about it. That wasn't a worry. And if other wolves attacked ... well, it was a chance she was willing to take. Her land was only small, and, hey, what were the odds?
How about One and a half? She said, smirking, then changing her thoughts back to the rumours. Perhaps it would be worth while going to visit the other pack to see if they had heard anything. Now she came to think of it, she hadn't seen any of the other pack members since ... when the rumours started. Nor any of her pups, which had left a while ago now. This had her worried. Maybe she should go and visit them?
Do you think it would be a good idea to go and see what the other packs know about it? She asked, looking at Ali, and sloping her head to the side. She always did that when she was concentrating. It would be worth seeing if they knew anything we didn't, and would probably be a good idea to warn them, if they don't know? Or would that just be stupid? The fae wasn't sure why she was asking him this, it was her choice to make, anyway, but she wanted to know his opinion., He struck her as a clever wolf, who would know what to do in an emergency. So she felt his opinion was worthy. Hmm.

How about One and a half? Ali laughed at this and turned to Kishi. "Ok, sounds about right." he joked. Better not be...
Do you think it would be a good idea to go and see what the other packs know about it? Ali's smile dropped slightly, but was still present. It would be worth seeing if they knew anything we didn't, and would probably be a good idea to warn them, if they don't know? Or would that just be stupid? Ali turned away. After a moments thought he replied. "Alright. But if we encounter unwanted guests, you stay behind me." he turned to Kishi. "I don't want you hurt." Ali gave Kishi a kind smile. "I mean, I like my job and all," he paused. "But I hope I never have to do it near you." Ali paused. I am such an idiot! Why did I even say that? He looked away quickly. "Uh, when should we go?"
